Large Filament Eruption and Coronal Mass Ejection (CME)

A filament located in the northeast quadrant erupted beginning at 16:00 UTC (Jun 5). The eruption hurled a stream of plasma into space, however the trajectory should be mostly off the Sun-Earth line.

I think I saw that on the blue LASCO C2 image a little earlier. I’m just wondering if the CME is Earth directed and whether it will give us a glancing blow? Thanks again, Ilias, for collating all the images and data.

I'm in California. It's hot! 90 Degrees where I am at 30 minutes north it's 95, Sacramento it is 105., Probably not from this sun burst but still it's getting warm...

Come to South Oz in Feb March I'll Gaurentee you Hot 45°Celsius with a stinking hot Northerly coming down from the Interior , you can do the Farenheight lingo be about 120 F ?
