Cole that is a quick coupler so you don’t have to drive out those pins every time you want to change buckets. That one looks manual instead of hydraulic. I’d put that sucker on.

For a time I was a parts man in a new car dealership and, with that knowledge I’ve gotten pretty much immune to parts price shock. Making, transporting and selling parts is pretty much like having a license to print money! And it’s all the same. Automotive, farm machinery, et al. One time I needed a 12v blower motor for my combine cab and it cost me $400!!😳

Im an orthopedic trauma surgeon and farmer who found your channel while looking up " how to install H braces for fence repairs" while I was off work in January recovering from knee replacement surgery. I had my partner do it then so I'd be ready for spring field work and planting. Encourage your father in law to stay compliant with his PT, and he'll have a great result like I have. Ive been able to do field tile repair with my excavator that I couldn't do in the previous years because of knee arthritis. It's great being useful and reliable again. What started out as a diversion recovering from surgery has turned me into a fan of your videos. We're 20% done with planting ourselves. Stay safe during planting season.

What region are you? Northeast Missouri April 22 was the last time we were in the field. Back in the field this past Saturday, May 10 I think maybe 50% of the corn was in before. Regardless thank you

@<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1066">17:46</a> I have a Case as well. What you have there Cole is the quick attachment coupler. Same thing on a Bobcat. It saves ya about 20 minutes changing out attachments manually. Remove the bucket, uses the same 2 pins, then its click on to attach the new head and repeat the process for changing to the new bucket or what other Case attachment that is part of that series backhoe. Learn how to use it. Saves time.

What a great day for repairs!! The "world" does NOT realize how versatile a farmer has to be. Mechanic, carpenter, mason, electrician, welder, and many more. Cole you are learning from the BEST teacher. Sorry for the expense, but such a valuable training lesson in today's farming. You guys are the best! So glad Ellie has a new little friend!

Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. It was very interesting and enjoyable. Your video today had a big variety of farm items on it. Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery to your father in law, Kevin on his knee surgery. You take care sir. That pin that broke on your planter was a big one. Never seen that break before. Brian said it was over $80 for that pin-wow!!!! Glad you got it going again. Sonny is really playing more and more with Allie. They make good playmates. Sonny is the cutest little dog!!!!!!!!!!!! Your digger machine had some issues but you and dad got them figured out. Having to take the radiator out to remove the battery is not good engineering I agree Cole. Glad you got the oil leak figured out. The filter seal you said, good going Cole. Like that calf catcher you have on the gator. It works really good. Keeps you safe from the mother cow. The calf you are bottle feeding sure knows when you are coming. It is really attached to you now Cole. Nice calf. About it I guess. Thanks for everything. You both take care and be safe. Current engineering for vehicles, and equipment is pathetic. I just had to have a starter replaced in a 2008 Toyota Tundra. The engine had to be lifted after removing the exhaust manifolds to get to it. Reminds me on your battery placement, even the oil filter for that matter. Prayer going up for Kevin for a speedy recovery. I love watchin Ellie play with the pup. So funny.

Well, the filter leaking on your Case was great news for you, congrats on that and on the pen. Whoa, $88 for that pen is ridiculous, but I guess your dad didn't have much of a choice. Good luck with the planting and with the mini excavator. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I have had 2 after market knees put in 7 years ago no problems. A good Doc and doing the rehab, do everything the therapist tells him and more and he will be OK!

Brian & Cole… that pin looks identical to a pin I just bought at John Deere… $260!! Only mine goes in frame of 946 hydra-swing Mower/Conditioner. (MOÇO). 🤨…. After watching rest of video… the pin I needed was a little fatter and a little shorter, and instead of shiny, is all painted with expensive John Deere green Paint. 😆

Prayers for Kevin 🙏🏻 I had a knee replacement 3 1/2 yrs ago. I continue to do my pt exercises every morning and night. It’s extremely important to stay up on the pain and do your pt! Ice and elevation are his friends!

The battery on my Volvo is in a deep cavity in my trunk. I have to carry a special tool if I need to access it away from home...grr.---The sound quality was exceptionally clear today, I felt like I was standing right next to you fellas!---Does that horn trick usually work on mice?! As for your FIL Kevin, starting in February 2009, I had both hips and rt knee replaced, with left knee scoped. Bad arthritis. So hopefully medical innovation has made knee replacement more comfortable for the receiver. My Prayers are with him. My PT told me hips are EZ, knees are bad and shoulders are the worst. Good pain meds go a long way. Take them as directed and don't say, I'll skip this one. I took some strong meds and tapered off with out any lingering issues.

Glad to see y'all are getting some good rain this growing season. Hopefully Hay season will be much better than last year. Unfortunately we are getting way too much rain here in East Texas. Over 40 inches so far this year with another round tomorrow and Monday. Geez we need a break.

On some of the Case engines they had a recall on the oil pressure relief valve and in cold weather start they were blowing out the oil filter gasket our 2008 435 skid loader was one of them that was recalled, we found out the hard way.

Glad it’s wet, much better to wait on it to dry out than wait on it to rain. We need rain on the Texas south plains. My father-in-law lives in Livingston, Texas and there was 18+” there a week ago in only a few days time.

I use to work for JD and this is one of the notorious problems on their planters. I know that they are trying to fix this pin problem. Sorry you had to go through this. Something I had to fix as well. Common problem. Thanks for your content. Y'all are awesome.

I made the detour to Storla Station today and they were closed. My wife then informed me it's Saturday. I drive 3500 miles and get there on a Saturday. Really poor planning on my part. I did get me a picture though.

It’s a quick coupler. You want to use it in every situation. Mighty handy little bit of attachment. You should be able to use it with just about every bucket and attachment

@@SonneFarms 👍I ran equipment for 20 years. Loved every minute, money just wasn’t there. But still love it and help out whenever I can. It’s tricky some times but a seasoned hand can give pointers.
