On the evening of June 13, 2021, Larkspur and Little MIracle's all Himalayan kittens were born. I had expected them the week before, so it was a long wait. Currently, I believe there is one male and three females in the litter. We will have to wait a little longer to verify their sexes. Either it is a litter of all Chocolate Point Himalayans or a litter with a mix of Seal Points and Chocolate Points. Of course, as with most Himalayans, it will take time to verify their colors. Sometimes we know the Seals by the end of the first week. Larkspur is doing well with the litter and her milk has seemed to come in right after the third day. The newborns are now at 3 1/2 days old. They are fighting for the nipples. Larkspur always has plenty of milk though some of her nipples are a little bit weird in shape. It takes time for them to reshape a few of her nipples. The birth weight was 98 grams to 108 grams. They are all doing good. The tops of their heads are all marked with a permanent color marker to identify who is who. I have to redo the markers at least every 12 hours since the mother's lick the colors away. Stay tuned for more videos from this very cute litter.
