It been months now and I still can’t get my cats to use these with consistency. I think they just don’t like the way the pellets feel on their paws. Has anyone tried a different brand or something? I really want this to work.

The only improvement that we have made on your system is that we do not use the scooper. Instead, we use latex gloves and it's so much easier to control how much of the pellets are lost.

I know I'm very late to this video, but I'm sick of my cat tracking the crystal litter all over the house (I got some stuck in my eye a few weeks ago!) and I've been wanting to change to pellet litter anyway. My question is, are other pellet boxes an acceptable option? Or is the breeze box the only one that would work with this method? Suffice to say the upfront cost is scaring me a little and I've seen similar boxes available for less than the breeze box.

Does anyone know about a possible change in the way the pellets are processed? The vendor number on the bag changed recently and no one at Tractor Supply can tell me anything about that. The pellets in the last two bags with the new number are smaller and more cumbly, and clog the grates of the green part of my box. The bigger issue, though, is my indoor-only cat has gotten a fungal infection over the past couple months that I finally traced to one of his feet; also, the fur on his white foot has started to turn dark. We are a non-toxic household and this litter is the only possible change. Just wondered how to find out if something in the processing could be causing it. I don't know what else to do.

Saw a comment on Amazon for the SoPhresh cat litter box large, that it lifts the entrance of this specific set up to be 9.5 inches. Any suggestions for a cat that would needs steps or a ramp to get into this? It seems most of the tiered spice racks I'm coming across aren't even 4 inches. I use this method and love it, but somehow the sides of the pad are wet

My cats have finally transitioned to the extra large breeze / wood pellet system. My only issue is that pellets still clog up the grate and I have to use a letter opener to poke each slot to unclog when cleaning and switching out pads. It takes so long. Anyone else find a solution to this? Tks

This breeze box is about $60! I made my own by taking to lower priced cheap er litter boxes and drilled holes in one of them

I’m wondering why my pee pads have pee stains such that it looks like the pee is going straight through the sifter instead of first hitting the pellets and turning to saw dust. Did this happen to you too? It means I have to change the pee pads more often because of the smell.

Can anyone whos used this system tell me how the sawdust is? Does your cat track it all over the place? That was our primary reason for going to the Breeze system. Its great that the cost of this is much lower, but if its not as clean then whats the point? That, to me, is the big draw of the Breeze system.....thats really when your paying for. I Upgraded to the Breeze XL for our fur baby. Shes a spoiled princess, can anyone recommend a bottom pan that would fit the larger Breeze Box?

I am starting this system tomorrow. I watched another tutorial on this and there are several ways to manage this. Mine is going to be without spending more money. And lastly, why wouldn't anyone flush cat poo? People train their cats to go on the toilet so if you are not flushing poo that has a bunch of clay clumping litter stuck to it I don't see an issue? Water treatment plants (my x works for one) deal with worse items being flushed into the systems than cat poo. Please, people just do not think!

I love it so much that I continually send your video to other cat owners, including two clerks from the Tractor Supply store where I purchased the pellets. Thanks! My cat is 4 yrs old and gets stomach bugs that keep coming back after treatment. I only trust stainless steel products now to cut down on any possible organisms spreading. Im considering drilling holes in her stainless steel pans for sifting. Have you seen any pre-made stainless steel sifting trays?

6 years later, and I’m definitely switching over to this way. Thank you for your video 🥰 I have breeze systems, have had 2 cats using them for years. We just had to take in 2 more kitties, and I’m already so fed up with the breeze pellets, and the tiny tray filling up way too fast. Wasn’t too big of a deal with just 2 cats. Plus replacing breeze pellets/pads gets way too expensive, especially in this economy. And the smell… I really can’t take it anymore.

I am adopting a stray cat for the first time ever! I have decided to go with the Breeze litter system. i watched the video. I don't see any mention either in the video or in your links for what kind of pine pellets to buy or where to get them. I have never had a cat and I have never had a litter box. Where do you get the pellets and what kind are they? Thank you.

So I did watch the first video on your review about these litter boxes and your system. Came across this one after watching the first, so I see the design has changed amd now one that you don't have in this video that they have now is an open one with high sides. I wish you hadn't retired so that you could have done a set up for that one, b/c that is the one I think I want to transition into, but the slit for the tray is on the side and it seems to be quite a larger box. So I am wondering if you made a video on that one before you retired. I will look. Thanks again for these videos they are so helpful. The only thing I wish Tidy cats would do is place the slips across the whole bottom of the box instead of just in the middle since some cats like to pee on the sides. Either way, you have made this work, and I look forward to trying out your system. 🙃

I know this video is way old. However, I came across it as I was searching on the best litter for my cat to see if I should change my litter or not. I must say, after watching a couple of other videos on the best litter that led me to the best natural litter that led me to pine litter videos, that then led me to this video. I wasn't sure at first if I needed to change, b/c I don't really have any issues with my litter at the moment except for how heavy it is, other than that my system is great my kitty is cool. She did, however, got one bladder stone infection about 2 years ago, and although I got her treated and she has been fine since it has caused me to start thinking about alternatives since she is getting a bit older. And I must say, out of all the videos I have watched, this one has convinced me the most to change over. 🤔🙃 Your system seems to be spot on. And since I currently have 3 litter boxes out, even though I have one cat , b/c at one point I was fostering 2 kitties and just didn't feel like breaking down one of the boxes so kept it up. And since I close off the room where 2 of the boxes are along with her food, so she doesn't eat all times of the night. And I keep another in another part of the house that she can get to during the night. So I say all that to say thanks soooo much for this informative video. I will be looking into at least changing one of her boxes and see how it goes. B/c this seems great and very cost effective!😁

I’ve been using this system for about 4 years now and I could never go back to clay. I even think this is easier than a litter robot! Question - how often does everyone completely dump the pellets and wash the box? I don’t feel like it needs as frequent cleaning as the clay setup?

I’m so grateful I switched to this box and the pellets. It’s saved me so much money. My cats use it very well except for one of my cats. She simply will NOT get all the way in the box and she urinates all over the floor and it’s destroyed my flooring. Immediately upon discovering the problem I started putting an extra pad just underneath the front of the box to protect my flooring but she still gets out of the box and scrapes and scratches the pad so much, in an attempt to “clean up her mess“ that she actually tears up the pad and the urine goes all over the flooring anyway. I am running through pads at such a fast pace now and it’s costing me a fortune. I simply cannot get her all the way into the box when she urinates. She always has her back end hanging outside the front of the box and urinates all over the floor and pad. For some strange reason, I don’t have this problem with her when she poops. It’s only when she urinates. I’m so willing to take any suggestions. Thank you all in advance.

I use this system and it’s fantastic! I have the Tidy Cat Breeze XL version and I attached some 2” feet to the bottom and keep a puppy pad underneath. The extra height gives plenty of room for the sawdust. I have the whole system inside one of those large cat litter cabinets so that when it comes time to clean the box, I just open the doors, lift out the litter box onto a fresh puppy pad and wrap up the soiled one and put it in a trash bag. It is far away the easiest system I have ever used. I do have one problem though, and I hope someone can help me with this. It is that the tidy cat breeze system has small holes and the pellets get stuck inside them. It makes for more cleaning and I’m trying to figure out a way around it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

This video is older so I'm not sure I'll get a response as I'm not sure the comments still get checked on it but it can't hurt to try - with the longer hair of the cats and the poo kind of just sitting there with this pine method, was it ever an issue where they got lots of poo stuck in their fur before you can scoop the solids out? This is a concern of mine because I have two long haired cats. This is the only 'flaw' I could see with using this method but I'm interested in trying to save money since two of my babies are on medication that costs me $200 a month to keep up with. (One has diabetes and the other has seizures.) This system also looks so quick and easy to care for! Our current litter cements to bottom of the boxes and it's a full on workout to get it clean.
