No 30 years on death row playing the system and costing the tax payers multi millions per prisoner for decades. No parole. No time off for good behaviour. No such thing as bail.....you can be locked up for years and years before you even have a trial. Serious criminals in the USA are laughing.......most of death row will die of old age or disease before they are executed and they know it. FBI profilers who knows these killers so well say that the death penalty would be a greater deterrent if they knew they were going to die immediately after sentencing. In countries where the death penalty is carried out swiftly, they have a low crime rate......
