I just adore Morrissey! We usually influence our children....my son, did me....he played one song from The Smiths and I was hooked...he knew if it wasn’t the music....that the vegan in me would probably connect....I also had a hard life with depression....many of us do.....I just love his attitude, his humour, him! Watched him for the first time at Massey Hall and now have bought tickets to see him in Winnipeg....my country and in the 2nd row! Looking forward to being in awe so much closer than last time! ❤️

His voice has got better as he's aged. I loved his voice and singing style back in the Smiths days but today he seems to have nailed the delivery. Morrissey said what I have always felt about people with depression, it's when you are deeply sensitive and have to cope in a harsh society. Dealt with it myself for 50 years and no cure as such but it does become more bearable doing what gives you joy and coping mechanisms X music and nature for me X oh and books and writing poetry, writing feelings down or anything creative if you can't find a good therapist as that can help to talk it out X just wish people took any mental health more seriously 🐮💚🌈

3:35 Interesting, Marr on the other hand can't stand some of the songs. Like This Charming Man. When I was at a gig of his, he basically refused to play it even though the crowd was cheering for it. He even started playing it for 5 seconds and stopped, just to tease us! I also know he hated a particular song they did towards the end, a B-Side for Girlfriend in a Coma, I believe it was called Work is a 4 Letter Word (not their best work, I admit)

He said suicide is admirable. I love Mozza but there are a lot of young men out there that adore him with mental health issues and I wish he wouldn't glorify what is essentially taking ones own life. Do you really want to die or do you simply want your pain to end? That is a very important distinction to make. So in my opinion making an early exit isn't admirable although neither do I consider it a selfish act either. Its tragic and an indicater of the soul - the mind, or whatever you wish to call it - and it's inability to overcome trauma. And that makes suicide tragic and not heroic.

Well said,I have had some success with trauma its taken years/decades..Im not bragging whatsoever. At times it was to me like fighting in vietnam winning battles yet losing the war,at times it seems I didnt know what to do and seemed to give in to pain killers...movies,video games, music trying to fill the gap temporarily and killed pain for a little bit...I have pulled out a bit and I would recommend to anyone not to give up and keep trying dont quit
