Welcome to the world according to our barefoot angel with the Mona Lisa smile, Angelina Jordan. Every Angelina fan will tell you that Angelina elicits an all consuming emotional reaction from them when she sings. Angelina has the ability to make us feel as though she is singing to each of us individually. She is a genuine soul whom happens to love to sing for the sake of singing. There is no other young female vocalist I know of that has Angelina’s lower range. Her soul speaks directly to our souls when she performs. You are in for a wonderful journey.

Challenge accepted! I began with Angelina a little over a year ago. I have never had a singer affect me emotionally the way Angelina has done which is the reason I am so enthralled with her. Don't get me wrong, Aurora is exceptional in that department too. She is also about 10 years older. But if you think about it you were speechless with the "Spell" video, tears from Bohemian video and even liked it more than the original and again tears in this reaction to an Elton classic. Why the tears? Because AJ knows how to interpret songs, arrange them in her magical way and deliver with one of the most unique voices on the planet. Angelina connects with me and obviously many others which is a rare talent and it's the reason I'm not a Dimash fan. He sings incredible notes and probably has the widest vocal range I've ever listened to but it takes more to get my attention and hold it. To me, he is too operatic and that's something I really don't care for. But to each his own. Your reactions are fantastic and you speak from the heart so Larry you are becoming one of my favorite reactors and I hope you follow through and take that deep dive in the beauty of Angelina. Thank you!!!!

Thank you for your honest and heartfelt reaction to this ridiculously talented girl! I'm a 52 year old man who is generally in perfect control of his emotions... That is until I watch AJ. What she has, you can't teach. It goes beyond just vocal capabilities - she sings as if she feels every word. This creates such an emotional response in the listener (literally makes me blub, no good trying to hold it in). Very few singers do that to me, except maybe Eva Cassidy, Karen Carpenter, etc. All this talent and emotion from a 14 year old.... STAGGERING!

Thanks for another great reaction to another classic song that Angelina re-interprets into another masterful performance. You're right about her vocal ability to just draw us into her music & for awhile just get lost in it. And - for me - I always feel better after listening to her. Looking forward to more of your Angelina reactions. For more of her jazz style, still recommend checking out all 4 of her Norway Got Talent performances, her unbelievable I'm Still Holding Out For You & of course her cover of Back To Black. Thank you. Norway seems to be the Florence of the Renaissance today. And Angelina is a Renaissance artist in my opinion, at 360 °, as were Michelangelo and the others, who were painters, sculptors, architects, etc ... she in addition to singing memories, writes books and designs clothes with her grandmother artist on stage.

I think its important that you react to her Norway's Got Talent performances just to see where Angelina properly began her journey and how she was able to blow away any competition to win. A young and 'raw' Andelina I think you'll find is just as compelling as her later covers. If you don't want to react to her indidual performances there's an upload out there that has all 4 of them in one go. It will show how much she had developed in around just 6 months (2 aged 7yrs old and later 2 on the live shows at just turned 8yrs old).

I was one of the recommenders for YBR. Thanks for playing it. When she was 10 she sang "Feelin Good" on stage in a small theatre with a full live band. You will be surprised. She has a couple of versions, LIVE at the Stream Gir Tilbake is the best version. One more bit of advice. No need to compare her to Aurora. The fact that you keep mentioning it means Angelina is beginning to affect you as much as Aurora has, and you feel conflicted in your devotion. No need. Angelina will take you on a different path than Aurora. Angelina's talent and diverse capabilities means you almost never get the same voice twice. Most of her covers are just one or two instruments, plus her voice. No distractions. The variety of what this young lady can and does do along with the talent, originality and velvet texture is completely unique. Enjoy the journey.

Angelina got just what she wanted from her performances on AGT The Champions, as she sang for Simon and impressed him and she got great exposure. Hello Larry, Norway does not have nuclear weapons but it still has two atomic bombs with Aurora and Angelina. They both radiate an extraordinary talent. To speak only of Angelina (Aurora is also incredible) it is very difficult to understand how she can in three words (often without background music) capture your attention and reach you deep in your soul. There is a warmth in the tone all its own. She also possesses an ability to manipulate time (many of her covers radically change the tempo) and to embellish her interpretations with subtle and sophisticated variations. In France, our national sport, which is to talk about wine, defines one of the qualities of this beverage being its length in the mouth (the duration of the taste). Angelina's renditions are so rich that they leave you in awe that lasts for a very long time (many prefer Angelina's covers to the originals). Hoping that the translation is not too distorted my point.

Her ability to capture and convey emotion of a piece is as good as anyone. You wanted a name- I give you Angelina. Here you didn't expect it, and didn't want it (in some defense of Aurora), yet Angelina and her pristine delivery still made you emotional (no apologies required - she does that a lot). And in a performance that is hardly intended to be an emotional song. Wait until you hear her on some of those, and there are quite a few [her original "Million Miles", covers of "A Million Years Ago" and "Wicked Game" are just a few examples]. When Angelina wants to hit your heart, she will. A few tears are often the price of admission - but in the end no one really minds. From early jazz to more current jazz, R&B, rock, pop, gospel, country, EDM, Disco, even 18 century poetry put to song, Angelina's versatility is unmatched and you have not yet encountered much of that. But you will..oh but you will! For proof, Go and listen to her rendition of "La Boheme" or "How Great Thou Art".

It's unbelievable, this child always sings like she's a seasoned professional already, ever since she was 6 years old. Angelina, she's what I picture to be a true artist: she makes the song her own, she's in the flow of music, she conveys emotions that transcend the song itself, and most of all, her understanding of music is beyond, beyond just talent. To make music at that level at that age, I'm still puzzled as to how that's possible for a child. Some other youtubers started to believe in reincarnation after having seen her 😂. Well, sorry for blabbering, I'm off, I've got to find my jaw, it dropped somewhere on the floor. Thanks for the video. Bye.

These to young Norwegian female artists, both starting and ending w the letter "A" are some of my absolute FAV's. Both equally genious, prodigies, humble and caring. And also polar opposites when it comes to looks, behavior and style. ANGELina was 3 yrs when she saw Simon on YT and asked her mother if she could sing for him. Her mother smiled and said that she was (ofc) too young. At age 7 she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent, and won. At 13, she gets the phonecall to join AGT champions, and finally gets her wish fulfilled. Be careful what U wish for, it might come true ;)

Aren't we so fortunate to be able to watch these amazing artists from all over the world. Just a few years ago this wold not have been possible. Could I suggest another singer who gives a tremendous amount of himself, Hua Chenyu, a Chinese singer of great note. He is AvantGard, brilliant and a creative genius. His early life was difficult so he sings of the human condition and not love songs. He is unafraid of being different but very vulnerable. Try Numchucks, the Child, and Dad I'm Home. Eng Subs has them all. Hope you love him as we do. Our lives are being enriched by these wonderful entertainers.

Very astute observation on the vocal choices that Angelina makes and the differences. Her heart and soul is jazz and throaty blues, but she's competing here on AGT to a more diverse contemporary audience. She has to stay true to herself which is personalizing classics, but she's not gonna sing the more obscure jazz classics that us older folks love and appreciate. Shes got to take smart risks and she does here with Bohemian Rhapsody and Yellow Brick Road. Keep listening to her range and choices. I think you'll agree, Angelina is brilliant and could be someone our grandchildren are talking about in 50 years.

She has a EDM. She has covered most of the Whitney Houston, Adele, Lana Del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Elvis. She also has a demo that was never released called I'M STILL HOLDING OUT FOR YOU, it's got to be one of her top 5 songs. It's a great ride, you haven't scratched the surface.

Great performance again. I agree she's pretty much pitch perfect, but also agree that Aurora seems to get more immersed in her songs and their meaning, and you see her shake her head quite often after a song as she snaps out of it.

I agree. Aurora is a visual performer and uses her body as well as her voice to get the message across. Angelina, on the other hand uses the subtle nuances of her voice and limited body movement to do the same thing. For me, Angelina will never be surpassed as my Number 1 choice, but Aurora is a very good runner-up.

How I feel involved in your emotional reactions, Larry ... Angelina is absolutely fantastic in engaging listeners, she is almost an emotional amplifier (if that makes a sense 😃) and all of her interpretations manage to make room in your heart and move you. Keep it up the two A's of norway are fantastic and also so different that they can rightfully make you stay locked in the musical cavern for a long time! Angelina has been my daily musical company for many years now and no matter how many times I have listened to her, she always recaptures me. 💛 🧡 ❤️

@@larryshair Angelina has four versions of Million Miles on KZfaq - audio, lyric, live in studio and official music video. When you are ready to react to her singing it, please select either the live in studio (black & white) or official music videos (or both). Her song is a tribute to her grandfather who passed away in 2019, but she said she also wrote it for anyone who has lost loved ones. Thanks again for another Angelina reaction. Again I see she the affect she had on you, same as me and many others. Just like personal opinion here is mine. Aurora writes some outstanding songs and because she performs many of her own material she has a deep understanding and emotional connection. Her voice is very clean and pretty, but to me she sounds the same in most every song I’ve heard/watched. Dimash has a range that dogs strive to achieve. A very good voice and dramatic presentations but...I could note sit and listen to a whole album of his vocal gymnastics and after an album sitting of Aurora I’d be asleep. Listen to AJ originals for in depth contemplation. What is life and Shield at age 11-12, Oslo, Million Miles at 14, 7th Heaven at 15. Then listen to Song For A with music written for her and words taken from a poem from Robert Burn about 1783. Pop, country, jazz, classical, easy listening, disco, etc etc. anyway variety is the spice of life and not everybody drives the same type or brand of car. With Angelina I get 90% of all of them. Thanks again

Hello Larry, enjoying you journey with Angelina,i must confess i am not a great fan of Auroa,to me she is an etheral singer,if can say also very mystiscal, not my cup of tea ,with Angelina you are listening to one of this planets great artist,as you mentioned you will have to follow Angelina down the rabbit hole, she is an emotive rip up your senses singer,at 15 being a teen she is trying all of those teen things,we have to let her enjoy these years,Angelina time and time again brings tears to the surface, you listen to songs time after time, you will have to travel back, her 10/12 year age, these songs are masterpieces, also it depends where you are in your own personal journey in this lifetime ,with Angelina by your side you can right many wrongs and bring peace to yourself, i must say you have a very pleasant speaking voice, Angelina is the messenger, stay safe and cheers from Australia,.

You really haven't listened to enough of Angelina to know just what kind of Emotional Magic she generates. There are so many I could suggest, where she just rips your heart out. One of my favorites (another Adele song) is "When We Were Young": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l653htaitrXXZX0.html This is an outdoor concert in Norway about two years ago, so it's live without great studio acoustics. And it's just Wonderful. When she crescendos on the chorus, I promise it will bring the tears. In this performance she uses her incredible low register, then belts out the chorus. There are 14 songs in this concert, and all are great. But this is my favorite. STUNNING!!! I think when you have listened to enough of Angelina, you will discover that she really does not have a peer when it comes to emotional conveyance. So another emotional grabber, and something more up to date, try "All I Ask": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bs16qNOjyNGmqH0.html Another great Adele song, that is studio produced by Republic Records L. A. Studio Director and Grammy winner Rob Christie (on piano). This is my all time favorite Angelina performance, and it demonstrates every aspect of her Amazing talent. Cannot get through it without tearing up. FANTASTIC!!! Best wishes Larry.

Thanks for your reaction once again. You do have alot on your plate. Something a little different for you. Angelina singing a song that never made it out into the world to hear from the orginal artist. She was given access to this piece with permission by the orginal artist to record his song. It was only after Angelina recorded it, of course in her style. The artist finally made a music video with his performance. We look at it this way. He covered Angelina. The message of the song is dark and in line with Aurora's song 54321 but a different message. After Angelina recorded it, the song was to go no further. But, it got LEAKED. A fan threw a ton of still images together of Angelina and created the video. I linked the song below. The orginal artist goes by the name of Baby Fuzz. Angelina is 10 years old at the time of this recording. The song title is I Keep Holding Out For You. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etxooM10zZvNmXk.html

For more emotional interpretations from Angelina, may I suggest: 1. Her original, not a cover, Million Miles, she dedicated this song to one of his grandparents after his passing... 2. Her cover of Elvis Presley's Always on My Mind, not a big production, just her, and a guitarrist in a living room, her cellphone phasing the camera showing the picture of her other grandfather, she actually incorporates the word "grandpa...." in the song, as if she is talking to him...If you notice she sounds a little off is because she is struggling to finish the song, and finally a controlled cry comes out (also dedicated to her other grandfather a week after his passing). On another note, extremely glad you will showcase Dimash, his music might not be for everyone but his vocals are impressive... You will understand ....

@@larryshair My 2 cents on Dimash.......even though his vocals are off the chart, and has talent unmatched....he tries too hard to be Elvis. Elvis was a mans man. His songs could put a tear in the eye of any man. Dimash is a diva. What comes natural to Elvis, Aurora and Angelina, seems manufactured by Dimash. When you take that journey, you may understand wherw Im coming from. In the meantime, check out 13 year old Angelina covering Adele's Someone Like You. She is stunning and elegant and is just everything todays artists arent. Enjoying your reactions!!

@@murtheblur Totally disagree about Dimash, but hey, I believe in respectful disagreements, after all, there has to be variety for everybody's taste. I'm a little lost at the Elvis part, as he tends to incorporate a lot of Michael Jackson, who he openly admits to be a fan of his talent as a pop singer. As to the diva, he seems to be a very humble guy, seen videos of him even stopping to help elderly people, and he withdrew of the World's Best competition once he found out children were also competing. Many male reactors seem to like him, and express feeling so touched by his singing even when they don't understand the language, and that is powerful. During the Chinese competition The Singer he performed Opera 2, which is a cover of the Russian Vitas. Many immediately started to compare them and say that Dimash's cover was much better than Vitas. Although is true Dimash went octaves higher than Vitas at the end (impressive), he didn't like the comparison and has never performed that song again to avoid such comparisons. In his performances he always elevates and thanks the musicians But I'll pay more attention to see if there something I am missing.... Lol...
