I saw them in the mugs section and that soft green glow told me that they were something special. Its been a really wet February, but we're not complaining because here in the Mojave Desert, we'll take every little bit of rain we can get! I am back at one of my favorite Goodwills at Rainbow and Cheyenne here in Las Vegas and I have my Thrifting Vegas blanket and my reuseable shopping bags ready. Today, Goodwill was an absolute goldmine and the treasures just kept flowing from the shelves into my cart! Thrift with me for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Used to take old readers digest the small ones and fold them like that and we would decorate them and make Christmas trees out of them when I was a kid we painted them green they were awesome

Tiffany you have a most relaxing voice and I enjoy your videos. You have such a good eye for thrifting from Good Will, and you did quite well again. I like your long cabinet, everyone needs a place to store things away. The pop Rio is getting big and now Bear can't live without him. Of course the felines are the real bosses. The children are so fortunate to have pets to learn responsibility, caring and love. 💛💚💙💜

I just love your thrifting videos. My mother in law would fold the pages of hymnal books and then add a doll’s head with a halo to make an angel. I think that book was missing it’s head😊

My advice is to sell what you love. There's someone else out there that will love it too. If I don't love it, my confidence when it comes to posting it is gone and I tend to take forever to post it or I end up resonating it in the end. No one wants a pile of stuff we don't really want.

My aunt used to do flower arrangements and that round flat basket (the one you asked about) is used to do arrangements for your front door. Make a lovely spring/fall arrangement put a wide ribbon on it and hang from your front (or back) door. I love your channel!! 💜 you've taught me so much (like the uranium glass) that I use when I go thrifting. 🙏💜

I have been making Christmas tree out of books for years stared when I was 10 and iam 62 now. I use old telephone books and then I paint them different colors and decorate them its alot of fun.

The hymnal with the folded pages gets a wooden head with a painted face and curled dried grass for hair and it becomes an angel. 👼 I got one from a friend for Christmas and I love it and get many compliments on it.😀

I have seen those flat baskets hanging on people’s wooden yard gates with a flower and Vinca Vine hanging out of the basket and down the gate! It’s would also love 💕 to thank you for all your wonderful pointers and tips. Never stop doing what you do because you do a marvelous job!!! 😊

I absolutely adore the elephant wall mount. I have a friend who is very ill who collects up trunk elephants. I searched Goodwill for a couple of months but I couldn't find a suitable one for her. I finally ordered a just ok one from Amazon that she was thrilled with but had I been more patient, your elephant would have been perfect for her. You find the most unique treasures

Hi Tiffany! I was so excited when you found the green uranium glasses! I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the grand opening of The Good Stuff store. I had planned to go but then wasn't able to but I watched it on You Tube and Facebook. It was so nice to see you and your kids. The elephant is made in the Philippines from seashells. I bought 2 elephant figurines at a fair back in the 70s. Have since found turtles and more elephants at garage sales. Your elephant has more detail than my figurines.

I love them plates as well. The one that has the chip on it would be great for Crystal at the shop to make jewelry out of take the part where the butterfly and the cat, and use that part to make the jewelry.

My mom took apart a beaded seat cover and restrung the beads on sections of cord and gave them to me to string on my Christmas tree so they give it a vintage look. The dark beads remind me of cranberries. A treasure I cherish from my creative mom.

You found some lovely items today. The Goodwill where I shop is changing. They have stopped taking the discount cards. Last time I was there the checkout lady asked me if I found everything okay. What the heck, I'm not shopping at Walmart or Kroger. They've taken the fun out of it. It's not a treasure hunt anymore. Your Goodwill store is awesome.

7:25 Folding books. Very popular in 70s & 80s. I remember my mom making Christmas trees as well. She also made trash cans out of rolled up magazine pages. Very creative.

I was thinking the plate with the butterflies on it that has a chip on. It could be broke up and made jewelry out of that. That would be a beautiful piece with the butterfly and the other animal as well.

Our church made those books that looked like a tree. But they had an angel head and hands on top. So with the book covers spread out it is an angel. They used old hymnals.

You can easily clean coffee and tea stains out of cups by using a denture tablet. It cleans out like brand new!

I think the pottery piece is a shaving mug/scuttle. Warm water and brush go underneath and a small puck of soap on top to lather up with the warm wet brush
