Join us for Part 2 of our travel vlog which sees us check out of Red Rock Resort, spend the morning exploring Red Rock Canyon and then head back to the strip to check in to the Venetian resort before the Las Vegas half marathon begins.
We have brunch at the amazing Yardbird in the Venetian, head over to the Bellagio to get our updated MGM Rewards card and then spend the day gambling away down the strip.
We enjoy watching the Vegas Half Marathon and Rock n Roll fun run down the strip.
In the evening we head over to Resorts World to do some high limit gambling before heading to Fountaine Bleau and back to Venetian for some late night fun

Getting lost in the Venetian is our forte! 😂 Love the suites there, we have not stayed there for years but with the Sphere, Resorts World and Fountainbleu, it may be a good time to return! Do you get decent comps there?

The rooms are great, we actually prefer them over the Wynn and as you say with FB and RW now in proximity it’s a great little spot. We haven’t stayed there much only once 2 years ago and gambled a little the last year so no comps yet, but room was only $125 including resort fee. They did comp our entire bill on checkout though so expecting comps for our next trip🤞🏼

Hey guys! We really enjoyed the sights of the Canyon and it's definitely something we want to do sometime soon. Beautiful room and I love the sunk in portion of it, but the one thing I was surprised that you didn't have a fridge and had to makeshift a cooler for drinks. Glad you mentioned about the FB food credit that you have to use it all in one go so you gotta make it worth while! Lastly that marathon ending was funny lol the traffic jam made me laugh 😂Looking forward to the next ones!

Yes the fridge or lack of one is the only downside for us at Venetian. The marathon ending was brilliant the whole of the strip just waiting on 2 people 😂

Day two! Here we go...now lets get some wins! We hiked through Red Rock Canyon in our younger years! It was very cool to see and tour. Crazy thats its only 30 minutes or so from the city. Its just you, Emily and the turtles today! The Venetian is such a beautiful property. Ive always wanted to stay there. I have zero luck in the casino though. Yardbird is another place we have yet to try, but it looks great! Nice time-lapse! Tell the receptionist to call back later, no interruptions while you're trying to vlog the toilet 😅😅😅. Great view of the sphere...love the Martin Luther King animation. Its impressive how quickly Ole Red got built. I hear the drinks are better than the food from most people. The Grand Canal shops is my favorite place to get lost. Interesting to see a marathon down the Vegas Strip. Not something you see everyday. I need to spend more time at Resorts World...judging by the lack of people, I'd say im not the only one that needs to visit more. The food court there is impressive, but I find it damn expensive for what it is. Glad you had the voucher. We will be staying at Fontainebleau in June and are very excited to experience it. Great Day two...love the B Roll and Time-lapse stuff also.

Yes we enjoy Resorts World but I find it’s just an ok place to visit and not necessarily some where to frequent or stay. I think FB opening will hit them even harder. Like we did, I think a lot of people will choose FB over RW. Although saying that FB has its own issues as well. We never got to experience Ole Red was always so busy with huge queues, and as we were weren’t eating there and only planned to drink was no point waiting for over an hour in a line. Hopefully be quieter for our next trip.

Great vlog, Russell! Please continue making more videos. I am curious to know if the restaurants you visit in Vegas are part of a chain or privately owned. I assume that most of them are chains. I agree with the comment below that Venetian has great rooms. I stayed in the one in Macao and found the rooms to be exactly the same as those in Vegas🙂

Yes we love the Venetian nice and spacious. Most are chains and not owned by the hotel. Typically in hotels they just lease out the space to private restaurant owners and restaurant groups and the hotels stick to operating the rooms.

Yes was good to see the marathon. Thought it would be a pain but turned out to be fun to watch. Yardbird is definitely worth a visit, we had very good food.

Yes Venetian is great, will stay more if we get good comps. So we paid for the room then after gambling they comped it for us. Hoping now we get comp nights for our next trip.

Do enjoy your content, but have to be honest. When watching Vegas Vlogs, it's fun seeing people enjoy the place we love we love to visit, and she looks completely miserable the majority of the time. Made us fast forward through it and eventually turn it off.
