Is there not a way to bring in Live text from the vector file and convert it to variable text in program? We have to recreate the text again in EZCad?

Hi, i have noticed that the text after 1 or 2 lines does not stay in X 0 position. It drift's a little so i have to recenter it. Why? This is very annoying as if the object is not necessary in the center, you have to remember the X position and put it again in the field. Any fix? Plus the fact of manual correction that defeat's the purpose of automation. Is that a bug? Does Lightburn solve this issue? Thanks

When you type out your initial text when you're starting your variable text project make sure it is justified correctly in the text properties window on the left side of the screen, either left, center or right justified depending on your use and then give it another shot. Should resolve this issue. Same goes for LightBurn.

So u have a mr carve fiber laser. To be honest it's great. I just am not clear on how to create tactical laser effects. Or like a raised affect i can feel. Example: when i use to make business cards we used a method caused thermography to this but it only works on certain materials. The fiberlaser is suppose to be able to burn acrylics and polycarbonates to the point of creating a bubbling that raises texted like on newer drivers licenses and newer creditcards. It looks JUST LIKE THERMOGRAPHY except it's a tactical laser marking

Interesting, I've never heard of thermography or tactical laser marking I'll have to do some research on those topics for sure!

Make sure "show contour" down by "mark" and "light" at the bottom of the screen is UNchecked or you will get a contour line instead of a square.

Simply click the layer color icons in the top right corner with the text selected to switch it to a different color layer.
