The problem with measuring temperature like that, is that its not uniform throughout the room, its only good for the 10 sq ft area you want to heat up. And it also varies by the type of room you have and how insulated it normally is. For example, I have a cold bathroom, with a heavy draft, doesn't help much. Then I have a room with 11 foot ceilings, again it doesn't consistently keep 70, the sensor is right on the tower, not across the room. So in general its basically situational, all these space heaters in that respect are the same. This does do best however ifyou have a normal room say its 8 ft ceilings, closed door and a 12x12 or 15x10 or some small to medium size room.

I am still looking for answers to this. My power bill was 163 dollars after using this tower fans "auto eco" mode set to 55-60 degrees. H1 h2 or h3 better not be just fan speeds.
