Last Day of Outbound Trains at Bayswater Station Platform 2

Күн бұрынWith the 2024 Midland and Airport Line Shutdown starting on the evening of the 28th of March, Bayswater platform 2 saw its last outbound services towards Midland and High Wycombe serving it, as after the shutdown the new island platform will open and these services will move to platform 4, while platform 2 will remain unused until the Morley-Ellenbrook Line opens, with Perth-bound trains on this line serving it in the future. This means that platform 2 was only serving outbound trains for about six months since the original opening of the new Bayswater Station. In this video we travel on the tracks before and after platform 2 in the outbound direction for the last time onboard set 1, and view some trains coming in onto the platform at sunset, as well as the last three services on it, one to High Wycombe, one to Midland, and one terminating.

Yeah I also mentioned in the vlog filmed ytd abt the track binding right at the Airport Line tunnel spot Probs they will break the current track and the new tracks can be a straight track onto Airport Line tunnel instead of double crossovers For 900 Ashfield won't get confusion but at East Perth and Mount Lawley...

I'm confused. Don't platforms 3 and 4 run along the new elevated section through to the Tonkin? You're saying the outermost two lines will serve midland/airport?

Yes the outermost ones serve it. You can see at the start of the video when we go through with the A-series the new track they've got ready going under the viaduct. The middle platforms serve the Ellenbrook Line.

Oh yeah, I did actually go on to but I already stopped filming then cause my battery was very low and I still needed to film the Stadium trains.

@Weegeepiegirl I've met with Mark many tines, he does bring a charger but you don't always get a USB bus or train...

@@Renault1129 i’ve noticed that, but at bayswater the charger was broken and he also refused a power bank when it was offered to him :/

Today train are use platform 6 for Claremont and platform 7 for freo the train that come from freo when it get in perth it arrives on 6 platform then go to Claremont and the one that comes from Claremont goes to freo when it arrives in perth on platform
