Last days in Finland, 2019

When we had finished filming the first two selections of the show in Levi I had just over a day off in Helsinki before flying back to Canada. What to do...? EAT of course.. :)
I also had enough time to meet up with a few more family members and friends.

Super tour! Love to see Helsinki. But more of an outdoorsy guy so we moved to Lapland... The crosswalks are a bit difficult for pedestrians in Helsinki, but most other towns cars will give way. Also love you're passing Belge in the mall, a super restaurant!

Besides the switching to wintertime this weekend you'll need to take note that Saturday November 6 is the All Saints Day or Pyhäinpäivä, which means that the opening hours and public transport timetables can vary. Not as much as on the past but still.

9,00 is in the morning, in the evening it is 21,00 !

Helsinki definitely has a good vibe, people will dare to look you in the eye, sometimes. I have been here for decades from the Big Island Hawaii. Weather is way different!

Roy, as you pointed out, the cobble stones look real pretty (especially when wet with rain, reflecting street lights), but they are hell for bikes and other vehicles without suspension. You feel like you're losing your tooth fillings whilst riding on such terrain.

ha.. yes. I recall the first time I was on one with a scooter. Could feel my cheeks bouncing up and down.
