I can see a huge size difference with my turtle head this year. If we keep having dry summers, it may disappear also. Thanks so much for watching.

That is awesome that you got a Pagoda Dogwood. It put on a tiny amount of growth this year, so that's a little encouraging. Hopefully, we have a rainier season next year. Thanks so much for watching.

Turned out beautiful for what you went thru 👍 such great variety! I love grasses too, seems it’s the one thing we can count on looking the same if not better year after year. I sure hope you will be doing seeding videos thru the winter. Take care

I have been looking at a lot of seeds for next year. I wish I could grow them all. I hate wishing time away, but I can't wait to start growing again for next year. I agree. Grasses are amazing andI want to add more. They give me something to look forward to in fall and early winter if we don't have a lot of snowfall. Thanks for watching

Girl, your gardens are incredible for how bi-polar our weather has been. I’m in the south metro & we’ve had lots of pop-up rainstorms, which have really helped this season. Wondering if you’ve planted any perennial mums? I put 2 mammoths in last year & they’re just enormous this year! Starting to bloom up & steal the show! Also my hardy hibiscus is about to bloom again too! Cheers!

I have one perennial mum. It is the yellow one by my hydrangea hedge by the driveway. It hasn't put on much growth in 2 years. I will move it at some point. We have gotten maybe 6-7 inches of rain from May until now. Anytime storms were predicted, they would go around us. Glad to hear you got some rain. I was very surprised to see a second flush of buds on my hardy hibiscus. Super cool. Thanks for watching

Lucky! Both of my hardy hibiscus shrubs have been done blooming as of about three weeks ago. My tropical hibiscus is still blooming like crazy, though. Thank goodness..haha

My tropical hibiscus is loving its life here too! Most consistent blooms in the last few weeks than I’ve seen in the 2 years I’ve had it. 🙂 Both my hardy hibiscus shrubs are about to bloom again too & I have to wonder if thats a result of monthly fertilization, (something I did not do last year). I am new to gardening so I’m still figuring things out.

What is the groundcover at 10:02 between the hakonechloa grass and the ivory halo dogwood? Is that sweet woodruff? Gosh I hope we have a nice rainy summer this year!
@floralnhardy7332

Yes. It is sweet woodruff and it would be nice to have rain this year. I don't mind watering, but the last few years has been a lot of watering. Thanks for watching.

Nope. I bought the lotus vine at a greenhouse. I am shocked to see blooms. The tag even said that getting it to bloom can be difficult. Thanks for watching
