Last resort's best shoe?!

I review Last resort ab's new cupsole shoe for skateboarding which is the biggest change that the company has made to their shoe program in a minute. I go over my initial thoughts when I first received the shoe and then what my final thoughts were, when I stopped skating it. In my opinion it is definitely one of the best shoes that last resort has created.

Finally, a good review for this shoe! You’ve skated in Nike Blazers, right? How does this shoe sizing compare to those? You talk about this in the video, but it was a bit unclear to me. Thanks for the good video!

Thanks so much ! In comparison to the size you are in blazers, you would wanna go up a half a size US for this shoe :)

Pretty much my exact experience with the shoe. I DM'd the LRAB insta and did get a time frame for a full suede by drop 14 (probably q2 2024). My outsole blew out really fast though. What kind of grip do you typically skate? MOB just might run through these like a blade.

Wow that's amazing to hear, can't wait to try them out! Interesting.. I personally had a really good experience with the outsole. It's way better than the vm's in my opinion. While I was skating these, I wasn't skating MOB even though I usually always choose it over anything else. Maybe that's why I didn't blow through them.

A bit of a question on the side: Looking to pick up a pair of 001/002s(not cupsoles) - how do they compare size-wise to a blazer (mid)

Go down half a US size if you are picking up the Vm's compared to what your size is in Blazers. I'm making a whole video about Last resort's sizing where I compare to Nike's sizing. It's coming out on friday!

I definitely second this. I always get US size 12 in blazers, and they’re perfect. Size 12 in Ishods work well, but are narrow and hard to break in. LR Vm001/2 are feel really long in 12, and 11.5 is much better, length-wise. They feel more pointy, though, and comparably kind of low around the ankle. They look great, but skating in them is an adjustment.

@@swr410 I got mine in 11(44 euro), compared to blazers in 11.5 (44.5 euro).. They are comfy straight out of the box, but like like 5-6mm longer (I guess 1/4 inch). Makes me thing 43.5 is my size, but that does not exist in LRs

3 weeks is pretty good for no shoe-goo, i can't skate any shoe more than a week or 2 without shoe-goo'ing where my ollie hits. good review tho! been wanting to try these

Really sick vid (your park looks hella dope too). To me these are a copy of adidas sambas... do you know how they compare?

Thanks, the park is pretty fun! I haven't skated the Sambas before but I personally prefer the look of the cm001's. Everyone is wearing the sambas currently so it's a good opportunity to be a bit unique :)

How is the impact support on these

To be completely honest I didn't really test that too much, hence it's typically not the type of skating that I enjoy doing. It's definitely on the lower impact side even though its a cupsole. The shoe is pretty thin and very comparable to the Vulc last resorts in terms of boardfeel, so I wouldn't consider it the best for jumping down things. The cloudy cush insole in it is pretty good though!
