I owned my 2009 Yamaha R1 longer than any other vehicle that I've ever had. This past week, I sent her off with her new owner to let her bring as much joy to them as she has to me these past 4.5 years. The end of an era for sure, but for me, change always moves us forward.

Never thought this day would come... I remember on the last Texas Meetup when you, Chase and Jake trying to make Jake's Grom faster by tucking the Grom behind Chase's R6 and you tuck behind Jake's Grom. And all these 3 bikes are gone... but the memories are here to stay. I'm sad but then pretty excited about what's coming next in the channel.

I've been watching the channel since you just started the channel and the R1 was the main reason I watched you. My favorite part of your R1 was how happy it made you riding it. I didn't have a bike at the time and it made me feel just as happy. You're the reason I got into bikes and bought a motorcycle. One day I want to customize an R1 just like yours because it's everything I want in a bike. Best of luck, Brent.

My favorite memory of you with the R1 was when you got caught out in that storm in the pavilion. Handled it like a champ, and even had a sense of humor about it. Sad to see her go, but you can tell that dude was stoked to be the new owner. The perfect time brother.

We all know that your first motorcycle was an SV650S which I have been dreaming of long before I subscribed to your channel. Well I finally bought it... yesterday. The day you sold your beloved R1 I bought my beloved SV650S as my first street bike :)

One of my biggest memories of your R1 is the video where you took it up to this awesome lookout that looks over the hills, and you had to get there by dirt road. You took your drone with you and it started to pour rain, so you had to bring the bike up onto the lookout, and you got some awesome shots of it with the rain pouring. Then you had to drive back in the wet dirt after hours of waiting for the rain to end!

My greatest memory of you two riding together was the first ever motovlog I've ever watched. You were with hunter and you almost ran over a squirrel and doing rev bombs around a campus* iirc. Sucks to let go of what you love, but what lasts is the memory of genuine happiness you shared with this bike. Always be safe and have fun riding. Cheers!

One of the most memorable vlogs for me on the r1 was the time you told us about overdosing on the caffeine idk why just one that came to mind instantly, also I want to take the time and tell you you're one of the only motovloggers I still watch let all have a moment and appreciate that you don't click on a motonosity video and he's not instantly yelling at you to SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON and doing fanmailbuymeshitfriday can't wait for the next build series thanks moto

Okay, literally my first comment on your channel and I have to put this: My favorite memory is when you took it out to the mountains, and had your drone take a shot of the bike. It rained and you got stuck, so a couple fans brought you some gear. That episode is actually the first one that got me to subscribe. Regardless, keep up the good work man. Myself and everyone who follows you will always love the work you do.

I started crying so much, this bike is the reason why I watch your channel to this day, this bike is how I found your channel in the first place and seeing it go makes me... Emotional... Year, almost year and a half... I'm problaby going to miss it as much as you do, and it doesn't even belong to me, that's how much I've grown into this bike. I hope the new owner is gonna enjoy it to the fullest, cause it's truly an amazing piece of machinery. Looking forward to the cinematic, make it public, it will be better for the channel, the one video that I and many others will come back to and think of all the memories with the bike! Hope to maybe one day see a video on you visiting this, highly unlikely but it would be so nice. Love the vids, keep it up bud! :)

One of my favorite memory would be when you got stuck in the rain storm and had to get shelter sunset deck... Great shots and just all around great motovlog.. Going to miss the vlogs with the R1 but excited for the R6. Enjoy

Damn I didn't expect to get so teary eyed lol, Maya will be missed for sure. My all time favorite memory is when you raced against Dan's CBR. She was the reason I fell in love with this channel all those years ago but I'm glad she'll be able to bring joy to someone new & this channel has been nothing but top notch quality my man so I know there's more great memories to come with all the others in The Nosity lineup. My favorite time may not be your favorite, but when you got stuck up in the Lookout Point in the rain. Because that was real that has happened to me so many times and it was funny to see it on your channel. you going through it, even though you were miserable I have been in that position so many times as so many of us have, you put it on your channel and it brought back a lot of memories when it happens to me so that was my favorite.

My favorite moment was when you took it to the look out spot to take photos and it just poured rain and you got stuck there, it was a sucky day for you I'm sure but it was kinda cool just to chill there and enjoy the rain.

I subscribed to you during your ruckus build, so i don't really have a specific memory with the R1..but as soon as i saw your instagram story in that parking lot i knew the next video would be something along the lines of "i sold my R1".. I know how you feel. I just sold my first street bike, a CBR600RR, like Fry's bike but red. I only had her for a year but our memories are of me learning to ride on the street. It was tough watching the new owner ride away. My best memory of your R1 is of you putting the smackdown on Hunter Honda and his CBR1K at COTA.

It's hard to say which R1 video I like best, but a video that immediately comes to mind is the one where you and Dan race, you on the R1 and Dan on his old CBR100RR, and you were like two seconds away from doing a pull right in front of a cop, haha. Overall though I think my favorite vids of your were a number of videos from the CRF supermoto build. Really loved that build series, man.

A bike, by its nature, is only a thing. Yet we invest emotion in things, so parting with an inanimate object inevitably means cutting ties with those emotions. A bike has to be the most visceral emotional experiences for anyone who loves bikes. I feel for ya, man. Talking it through is obligatory, for the closure. That exhaust note is pure sound of freedom.
