As an ole b-ball coach I would have no problem with Kelsey Mitchell with the ball. The more I watch her play and study her stats the more I am impressed with her skills. She was drafted the #2 pick in the 1st round in 2018 which is pretty impressive. Mitchell ball average per game is: 40%=FG, 35%=3 point shooting, 81.3%=FT, 2=assists. Caitlin Clark #’s are: 38%=FG, 32%=3 point shooting, 90.6%= FT, 6=assists. If the Fever is wining the game it wouldn’t matter which of the two have the ball the last two or three minutes. Because of Kelsey Mitchell 6 year WNBA experience I would be comfortable with either one with a slight edge to Kelsey Mitchell as she seems to avoid defensive “trapped” plays getting herself double teamed. The Fever, like the Chicago Sky are young teams who will only get better the more they play together build more team synergy.

In normal basketball games the foul by the Chicago player is called a "REACHING IN FOUL". .

It is very touching to see this Indiana Fever team possibly coming together. Maybe they are all becoming friends. There was significant camaraderie in this clip. Nalyssa Smith was so funny standing there all by herself under the basket, motioning seemingly as to attract Caitlin's eye, without attracting the Sky! So funny! Because Smith is usually such a fearless player but seeing her in that situation, not wanting to get discovered. It was like a kid's basketball game for a second.

Not only is she incredibly talented but she understands what the word "team" stands for. She has no problem letting other players shine and seems to be a few steps ahead most of the time. She'd be an asset to any team lucky enough to have her. I'm not even that big of a basketball fan but I know talent when I see it. That girl reminds a lot of Larry Bird in so many ways but her passion to work as team is what really shines. This is what the WNBA needs, not more loud-mouthed petulant children.

Even with these 2 minutes of play I can see Clark pull all attention to her whenever she gets the ball and make her opponents forget to do their jobs. They hate her so much they fail to play properly.
