Britain never apologized for this massacre. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919. A large, peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, British India, during the annual Baishakhi fair to protest against the Rowlatt Act and the arrest of pro-independence activists Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr. Satyapal. In response to the public gathering, the temporary brigadier general R. E. H. Dyer surrounded the people with his Gurkha and Sikh infantry regiments of the British Indian Army.[7] The Jallianwala Bagh could only be exited on one side, as its other three sides were enclosed by buildings. After blocking the exit with his troops, Dyer ordered them to shoot at the crowd, continuing to fire even as the protestors tried to flee. The troops kept on firing until their ammunition was exhausted.[8] Estimates of those killed vary from 379 to 1,500 or more people;[1] over 1,200 others were injured, of whom 192 sustained serious injuries.[9][10] Britain has never formally apologised for the massacre but expressed "deep regret" in 2019.[11]

No human would pause between the first and last name. Sounds like he served in Hitler’s cabinet, and that the cabinet was named Adolf. The AI narrators are are getting pretty good at imitation of human speech rhythm, but they’re not there yet. Soon they’ll generate the text of the narration and the images too. We won’t be able to tell the difference. The implications of that are quite unnerving. Maybe you or I are are just AI comment generators for that matter.

Many leaders will be arraigned before this court. If justice is to be done Biden ,Blinken and others will be charged. Israeli top officials led by Netanyahu will be dragged in front of the court. Punishment has to be harsh. Those who think there can be reconciliation between the Palestinians and Israel must think again. General Curtis LeMay architect of the bombing of Tokyo and other Japanese cities once said he would have been tried for war crimes had he lost the war. Interestingly, none of the Germans tried for war crimes were tried for the Luftwaffe bombings of Rotterdam, London and other cities as it would have brought up unpleasant comparisons. Hermann Goering was condemned to death for other reasons than deeds of his Luftwaffe.

I was a volunteer at the US Holocaust Museum in DC many yrs ago. The training I went through, to include extensive reading & studying, was a real eye opener. The Nazi high command, and many of the field grade officers, were some of the most horrible people you can imagine. We’re seeing a resurgence of that level of anti semitism again (Harvard president’s statements) and it’s VERY concerning.

yeah don`t forget the victors write history And lets also not forget the atrocious things the Americans have done to for example German and Japanese civilians for example the bombing of Hamburg killing an estimated 37,000 people or the aerial attacks against Dresden at the end of the war when around 25,000 people were killed Or the two atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The bombings killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people, most of whom were civilians
