Grandmother #2 is thinking "I wish somebody would hand me some castanets so I can do this properly!" LOL I am part of a Living History group here in the U.S., and I'm developing a 16th Spanish persona (initially due to my interest in early rapier swordfighting). I just started reading about the Gitano culture and I'm very intrigued. I love Flamenco! Thanks for posting this!

"Arabs"... guess you haven't traveled much in arab countries :-( Spanish rom or gypsies origin in India but have of course been "mixed" with other nationalities along the way..
