I GREATLY appreciate you for asking if my son wanted to reel in your catch. That shows your character. Was a pleasure to fish next to you. I was watching and listening hoping to pick up some tips and tricks. Again, thank you for being so nice to my son.

I wish he would have taken my offer before I lost the jig! It was a pleasure to see great parenting (I overheard some of the guidance that you gave him) while fishing next to you. Tight lines!

If I had a dollar for every time you said you were just happy to be on the water I’d have… we’ll I’d only have like 3 dollars but you get my point 😂

Went out on my 1st 39hr with Hubbard's on the 22nd. Caught a 2 day limit of snapper. Mangroves, Vermillion and ARS. Caught most on slow pitch, but the fish were biting. Going back out on Tuesday for a 2nd 39hr, I'm hooked. Gonna focus on bigger fish this. Let me know if you ever decide to go, I will try to join you. I video every trip, but just for my enjoyment, so I will possibly have video for you to use.

Sounds good to me! Hubbard’s at the top of my list as of now.

Just so you know, I have learned to call and book at least 6 months in advance for a trip(if you want the stern), and then watch to see if there's any cancelations if you want to go earlier. I notice that the best spots are the corners and the stern. The middle of the boat catches fish, but you can spend just as much time fishing as you can undoing tangles. It's also free to call and reserve a spot( you just need a credit card to hold), but if you book online, you must pay in full. Look forward to fishing with you someday.

Nice fish buddy. I was pretty bummed that the big one turned out to be a ARS but those mangroves were nice. Just moving in to the new place today. Give me a month or so and I’ll be ready to bring you out to the west coast.

Yea, I thought it was going to be a PB mangrove/mutton, but nope! Congrats on the move and wish you the best!

Have you gone to Double Eagle party boat on Clearwater? They are having a 20hrs fishing trip next week
@theanglercrew70592 жыл бұрын
No, not yet. Do you recommend it??

I was asking to see if you gonna for recommendations lol I book a trip for next Friday from 3pm to Saturday 9am, you should come I think it will be good, they will be targeting red snapper, grouper, aj… etc, total cost with a rod rental was $240

I fished there twice this season. I did well on the 1st 12hr ARS trip in June, and just caught my limit of ARS on the 1st of July. Unfortunately too many people were fishing with spinning setups on the 2nd trip. The bite would be on for about 5-10min each stop, but the moment a spinner setup hooked a grouper, it would rock up and shut down the bite. I would recommend giving them a try, at least you know that you can keep 2 ARS until Aug 18th.

cram the boats, give old rod and reals. first drop down rod was tangled, and spinning cheap hooks. all we did was feed the next boat.

Oh man. When did you go out? And was it a full day trip? I haven’t been going out on these boats recently and was curious.

that is not a rod the boat gave us.

Fortunately, I brought my own rod and reel for this trip last year.
