On todays video we invite yall along for a customers Isuzu with a good ol' GM 6.0. Customer states vehicle is making crazy noise, they are about an hour and change away and don't want to damage their vehicle.
Upon arrival we inspected the basics such as oil, leaks, anything obvious. We found nothing out of the ordinary aside from a broken stud on the passenger side exhaust manifold. as we were listening to what we think was a "stuck" or "collapsed " lifter we revved engine to try to correlate noise to engine speed but after a few moments engine mostly went away and we were not able to replicate. We drove vehicle back to HQ. we might record a tear down of the engine oil valley where we inspect cam lobe for damage !
