Yea its not just chevy, ford and ram do it, the jap trucks rust out too but do seam tonlast a lil longer, the only thing i would say is wax the underside VERY thoroughly, im a body tech and i would use a cavity wax, when i do frame repairs i wil use undercoat and cavity wax, im not shure how a ordinary person would get ahold of what im talking about tho

Had a 1999 Silverado extended cab beautiful black and silver . Was my 2nd car so only drove it for fun, 2011 had 65k miles. Was driving down a 2 lane highway coming up to a red light and I hit the brakes-nothing . Started hit my emergency brake and horn , went thru light but everything was ok. Looked underneath and the brake line was rusted out. I was pissed cause I really took care of this truck. Bought a Tundra and sold the Chevy . Tundra still going strong.

sometimes high mileage vehicles are better because people have been fixing them all along. These low mileage vehicles can be a nightmare.

Got it off! Told them we needed a new tank. The fuel pump feed is almost rusted out and the locking ring is bad as well. Just a nightmare

Don't just pick on GM , in case you have not been paying attention ,they are all rusting away now, ever since 1999, that's when they stop dipping cars and trucks at the factories, pay more get less it's the American way

Hahaha whoever said “you never work a day in your life if you love what do” is full of shit. Whenever you put money behind something it goes to shit in my opinion.
@Franklinveterinarycenter1of45 ай бұрын
Hey, could be worse! Try being a veterinarian on call 24/7 and some of your customers can't pay even when the bill is 50% cheaper than other vets in the area. Same expenses but more cost to operate. It is not uncommon to go work 16 to 20 hours a day. No personal life; situation can't wait and it is not like they can park it out back and leave the keys under the seat. The people that owe u avoid u.
@donerightautomotiveMobile5 ай бұрын
Wow never thought of that. I mean if people can’t afford then why even have pets, but of course easier said than done. I have 3 dogs I don’t think can afford to bring to vet
@Franklinveterinarycenter1of45 ай бұрын
@@donerightautomotiveMobile yes, being a vet is HIGH stress. For a number of reasons, a good many are leaving the profession.
