We build a 2015 1,200hp C7Z06 and the customer spares no expense! This car gets a complete procharger setup, built transmission, axles, and many other supporting mods! The customer flys all the way down from New York to get a ride in the car before it's shipped. He was not ready for the new power increase!

Right . Its why you see so many 600hp cars wrecked with low miles. People used to driving a 200hp car and then jump in these corvettes and camaro's and hell cats ect and the horse power difference is nothing like they have ever known. Then you bump it another 400hp thats impressive considering I have friends with 600hp drag cars running 10.20ish quarter mile times. Nice dang car

@@kellysmith1516 Yeah speed is something you have to become accustomed too. Over time. I mean I remember what it felt like when I had 160HP in a Civic it felt awesome did 14s in that thing. Then a CRX with 195 HP and that felt super fast 13.6 car. Then the GTR 550 HP 11.86 Car. Once you get into the 11 to 10s your what I call broken into the speed factor the other 9s and 8s do not seem to so crazy. This man had no idea what he was signing up for. He needs to go baby steps he went from like 400 HP to 1200 in zero seconds. Too much for that guy. I was worried he would have a heart attack.

I’ve had that happen exactly once. Back in high school I had a 73 z28 with the original engine, but it was bored, blue printed, balanced, head work. I was notorious for driving it like a grandma when I had people in the car with me. I took one of my buddies for a ride. About 20 minutes of low speed cruising he finally convinced me to open it up. So I hit the on-ramp on the highway, dropped a gear and laid the throttle to the floor. I hit the end of the ramp and merged at a song in top of 3rd gear near redline. There was a car in the cruising lane and just as I hit the highway the person cut lanes right in front of me. I had maybe 3 car lengths to react. Old cars like that, there isn’t many options, got tiny discs up front and drums in the rear. So all I could do, was lock down the fronts, downshift to get the rears loose and walk it sideways to avoid slamming into the ass end of some little old lady’s Buick. Somehow I saved it from hitting guard rails or her car, even more surprising the motor didn’t detonate and I kept it on asphalt the whole time. My buddy was singing praises that it was me driving and not somebody else because there was no way anyone should have been able to save it. After that I lost all interest in going fast

I know that part of town, with lots of distracted drivers, etc. I love fast cars and driving fast, but driving and accelerating that fast on a test drive on those roads was just not smart. There are plenty of country roads within 10 minutes of there that would have been infinitely more appropriate.

You just gave that man the best gift he's ever received in his whole entire life and I believe that wholeheartedly! I'm sure the day he became a doctor was a great great day for him but the comparison of the way you just made that man feel in the passenger seat of his own car knowing that is his car that has that kind of power! Sir my hat's off to you. I would give a Year's paycheck the field that kind of power come out of my Camaro LOL but after a house fire just recently... Things like that will have to just wait gears down the road. Once again this was awesome to see!

That Vette is one badass ride. I had a 2012 Volkswagen golf R, that I built up to a stage two, Less the oversized turbo, It was putting out 356 HP to the wheels. I decided not to put the bigger turbo on, because I did not think I would have my licence very long. Loved the power though. I can't imagine something with 1200 HP. Great build guys and excellent video. Thanks, have a safe week.

everyone in these comments are idiots. just because he reacted that way doesn’t mean he’s going home and “selling” the car. for one this was his first ride in his car since they put 1200 HORSEPOWER into it. absolutely no one in these comments would sit in the passenger seat of 1200 horsepower with a straight face. i’ve driven several very fast cars. (not 1200) and been balls to the wall but almost shit my pants in the passenger seat. it’s a control thing, and it’s completely different when someone is driving YOUR 1200 horsepower car.
