One of the lowest points in my life was when Trump made his visit to Nebraska for a rally. He flew in on a Gulfstream (go figure, choice ride of douches everywhere) and after he disembarked, my coworkers and I were called upon to fuel and service the aircraft. I drew the short straw and had to perform the lav service (drain and fill with the service cart). The crew was really nice, and I felt sorry for them having to deal with him.

I have intense anxiety and sometimes watching the news and all the bad things happening in the world makes it worse, but I want to keep up with current events, so I watch Seth, Colbert, etc because a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. There have been times where I’ve had to take a break from that too though. The past 6 years have been a bumpy ride and sometimes I just couldn’t handle the insanity and heartache (Start of the war in Ukraine being a prime example)

She is not a great woman nor the wife of a great man. I’m 35 years old and a lawyer. Even in undergrad and definitely in law school, you picked up on how crappy of a justice Clarence Thomas was/is. He never asks any questions during oral arguments and regularly basis his decision on politics. The exact opposite of what you want to see as a Supreme Court justice. I’m against “packing the court”, but I will not be sad when he retires. Also, his wife is a nut job. Since Clarence is still with her, I can only imagine he believes what she believes. Sigh.
