Pain and temperature are not spared in Wallenberg They are the crossed sensory findings from the spinal thalamic tract. He meant proprioception and vibration ( posterior column modalities)

thank you, I was confused! @ 4:08 he didn't mean pain and temperature, but rather proprioception and vibration, fyi for anyone else

So true. Dr Lee you are a treat and a gift... and I do ER, not ophthalmology. I enjoy and learn so confidently by both his sooo CLEAR verbal content and his cool delivery.

@@JABDUDE Thx mate! A question for you though bcs I don't understand it: How is it possible that a central tegmental tract (CTT) leads to the palatal myoclonus in Wallenberg syndrome, if the CTT is not in the medulla (which is affected here)?
