Love the videos, keep them coming... I work with many youth and high school athletes and have adopted the tier system style of training. I have found that with novice and intermediate athletes, when doing upper/lower splits, they seem much more fatigued when moving to the 2nd and 3rd block for that workout whether it be an upper/lower day. When doing a total body session and comparing it to the other days they are able to lift more weight with better efficiency. Do you measure your athletes to see what style is better suited for their level? Is your strategy based on what is being perform on the turf? Thanks

can I ask, how would you split training in a week for a basketball player? Let's say there's strength training in the gym, courtwork and plyometrics. Oftentimes I hear that we should be able to get our plyo from court work alone, but to be explosive i guess it requires more. so the week is mainly between gym and bball. How do I get in plyo without compromising ball time

Stick to actual workouts.....the drill you use to turn sideways is gonna get coaches furious because it basically gives the ball handler anything he wants....they are young now so they will not question your coaching.......but as a coach your gonna get these kids in a lot of trouble recovering like that it does nothing but set them back.....
@dru713281
@dru713281 5 жыл бұрын
i Like your channel but man you need some work on what exactly your working on.....those instructions on those cone turns and getting out of a defensive stance are atrocious.....no attention at all to their footwork And what they need to do to make it quicker and stronger without giving away balance......you better start educating yourself on details in the sport you’re training.
