One of my saved homes in Zillow went from listing in Oct for 600k, to sale last week for 460k. And with all the active listings in MLS and VLS , I bet sellers will be seeing blood in the streets this summer.

I'm single and thinking about moving to the Villages from Jacksonville. Do some places offer 3-4 month rental so I can see if I like it? And if so do you think I could have my golf car at a rental? I wouldn't want a years lease because if I like it I would want to buy . Are there places to workout? Is it included?

There are many homes that offer this type of rental. Try Air bnb or VRBO or other websites like RentfromaVillager or Villages4 rent.

3 to 4 month rentals are plentiful & cheaper from May through September/October. Most landlords would be glad to have a 3 or 4 month tenant during the summer months.

Robyn I envy you. Marketing houses to people collecting Federal welfare checks would be fun. That monthly Federal welfare check would make qualifying for a mortgage easier.

Maybe. It’s still quite a distance away, no matter what anyone says. You either have to take a car or you have to go up to Sawgrass over and down. I’m still not sold on how close that whole section would be to Eastport.
