My mom was a divorced single parent of three girls. I was the oldest (adopted) followed by a co-first less than a year younger than me (usual story, they adopted and then she got pregnant)..little sister is 9 years younger...my cofirst and I got one bday party ever...and we had to share it cus our bday's are so close together...so she invited everyone she ever met and as that included the few friends I had, she basically had the whole party to herself by sheer numbers...I ended up off in a corner of the house alone to escape the chaos. and that was the one party my mom threw for us. The kid sister??? She had many cus by that time, we were both living elsewhere. Life is so not fair.

OH MY LORD YESSSSSSS...and guess what , my area is going predominantly latina and since its Vegas, , " THE SEASON " is Spring and Fall! lol Summar unless you have a pool is too hot and even then its just too hot ...and yes, not much has changed since I was a kid...Birthdays are big but even bigger is the celebration of a birth ( baptism / christening ) First holy communion! and it brings back every reunion that my parents held, bar b q grilled chicken, asado argentinos...thank you Jenny for always keeping us connected to the heart of what we are and why we are how we are....oh miraaa me sale lo profundo, ya know, like mira tuuuuuuu , love you honey and the whole familia!
