Maldives' President Mohamed Muizzu, known for his pro-China stance, has criticized his predecessor Mohammed Solih for granting India of allowing India an unchecked sway over the island nation’s affairs influence by allowing Indian troops to be stationed there. Now, less than a month in office he has started the task of navigating the tug-of-war between India and China. He also finds himself on the frontlines of Global Warming. In less than 30 years, 80% of the Maldives could be uninhabitable.

Stop acting like those Indian army are harming maldives or creating anything that effects it's policy... Did this president tell you what they are doing? Some of them are trainers for maldives security and some of them are service men for helicopters... There's no real Indian army in Maldives.. It's basically assistance.. You people are not literate enough to understand this... It's all about your new president whose a Chinese bootlicker... 😂... Tell me what did that Indian army do? Bring 100 Chinese men too... Moizu's becoming pro-China should not be anti-India in nature . Maldives committead a big mistake at that particular issue . If Muizzu has promised " India-out " to the people , he may very well apologise and make a correction . Because Maldives is only 0.036% of India as per population . There are 797 districts in India , and at best Maldives can be compared with any of the districts . Maldives may rethink and make a new beginning .

you kept getting aid when it suited you. Now China is building infra in Maldives. They are not doing it for pure heart. Everyone is looking after their own interest and you are fine to do that, and so should be fine if India bans trade and tourism as it should with Maldives.

A country with less population will have more gdp per capita and your comment shows your illiteracy.. 😅 China gdp per capita is lower than many countries too for example south korea and Japan but it's economy is bigger... Higher gdp per capita means business won't show up because they have to pay larger amount as labor cost.. If I'm a businessman and knowing maldives having highest gdp per capita in south Asia, why would I come to maldives to set up business over india where per capita is low and market is now the largest in the world with regular growth in all sectors.... 😅 Coming to South Indian dark skin, let's leave the other religions out of it.. The black Muslim population of south Indian people are better looking than maldives people.. Remember, the black south Indian are ones who's actually represented in majority of Americans shows and movies..

This is for the interviewer. Please get your information right. India is not among the two largest economies in the world, the two largest are the US and China. India is only the 5th largest.
