I got a JDM B18C1 BAR’d a while back on the first shot. Not sure what laws are like now in 2019 but its possible to your motor BAR’d - just have to do your research. Congrats!

This is great information and congrats on your BAR. Did the inspector ever look at the transmission for any reason? So i have read that it has a same year or newer engine, but will it matter that the engine i have is a B18c1 engine from an Intergra GSR? if you can answer this, that would be great. Thanks

Back then in 2000s my cousin was one of the first to get a ek barded with a b18c and they didn’t put c1 or anything just b18c so that means he’s can throw any kind of b swap with out getting in trouble because it says b18c

Awsome, bro ! Gratz on having this done, it looks so so well built ! You know, we have these engines in BR coming since the 93/94 EG6, and later in 97/98 EK4, like mine. Besides they came from Japan ou version is called VTi, not SiR like theirs. Question: if u used a 99/00 engine like u said, why does the sticker shows 97 B16A2 in it ? Was it imported ? Does the stock airbox keep air intake temperatures low because it's not hot engine compartment air directly? Are you using it just for a stock look?

Love the spark plug wires, but they are proven on a dyno to lose a little bit of power compared to oem plugs.

Yea bro might Aswell because after you put a gsr you can put a jdm gsr too but if the ref doesn’t put anything in the comments then you can use any 1.8 they pretty much all have similar emissions but it’s really simple man people think it’s hard just make sure everything is hooked on legit and passes smog and your good

My buddy just got his jdm b20 bard in a 95 civic and passed all legit so I don’t know if the ref would just be a dick to not pass you they said aslong as you only use the head and block that’s Japanese’ but you have to use the manifolds and ecu of us
