Tommy your probably going to also need to flatten the pinch weld at the rear of the wheel well. On mine I run 255/40 on a 17x9 and it rubbed bad at the rear pinch on any more than one turn of the wheel. Good luck, welcome to the big wheel gang.

Cool wheels Tommy ... suprise to see this type of wheel sizes coming back. It was really popular in the early 2000's with time attack. Top Fuel was one of the more noticeable teams doing this. Keep up the good work bud 👍

Gonna be a new rad look for the car! I have a set of 17 inch Buddy Club P1 for my EK hatch and keen to see how your Volks look and the setup. Oh Damn... just saw how much the rims stick out from the guards... you’ll need to do what I’m doing and invest in a set of VW Golf GTi wheel arch flares (they work). Keep up the interesting content.
