Your not alone. I get something nice latte art. Sometimes not. Don’t be frustrated. It’s just coffee. Enjoy every sip. I have BBE at home and an commercial grade espresso mashine at work. I get perfect milk consistency at work almost every time and it takes only 10sec. Even frothed milk looks different with that mashine. With BBE stretching milk two seconds less or longer matter a lot. And it’s easy under or over aerate. Just not the best mashine for latte art.

Thank you for sharing this. I'm in the same situation, it's hard to get nice latte art and to get consistent milk texture. I don't use dairy so my go to is oat milk and I watch your video on how to froth oat milk all the time 😊

Thanks for sharing. I don't have a great machine yet, and so steaming is so inconsistent for me, let alone my pours. So all of your 'bad' pours would be amazing pours for me anyway haha. But its nice to see something I can relate to :)

Hi Kat, after being so long time doing manual brewing I finally jumped and bought an espresso machine. Properly calibrated and extracting good shots already. I'm having difficulties in latte art and the most I can do right now is a circle, any tips for a beginner?

i think being able to pull a good shot of espresso and pouring latte art are two different skills. latte art needs lots of practice and patience. learn first how to texture milk for latte art as that is the most difficult part. Once you get it then that's when you start learning the basic patterns. :) all the best!

Did you buy a new espresso machine ? Because in the first clips of the video the handle in which you turn on and off the steam looks different from today’s.

Actually nope. It’s an upgrade tool from cremacoffeeproducts :) it’s called steam lever :)

What you do with all these latte?! You drink them all? And all the cow milk that is used for this.. i love coffe and me too i was drinking latte with cow milk before i informe myself about the dairy industry ( It is a horror what goes on, just so we can have latte!!!) and before i found 1 or 2 differents plant milk that taste good and have a amazing texture for frothing! Do you ever use plant milk? If not, try it please and keep trying until you found one super good, they are not all the same quality.. and for practicing i use coloring and wash soap it give the same texture than the coffee and milk, you can practice as much as you want and you dont have to waste anything! 😉

Hi apprecaite ur concern and for raising it up. Actually im still on the hunt for a really good tasting plant-based milk for coffee coz i think my tummy now became super sensitive with lactose. I have tried so many alternative ones before but i feel bad coz all of them are just awful (taste-wise) and i usually end up throwing them (which for me isn’t practical). As for all the lattes shown in this video, pls understand that this is a compilation of all the coffee ive made since May. So yeah, i drink them. Also, what i do if it’s too much tho is put them in a pitcher and stock them in the fridge so then i have my iced latte 😀 anywho! I am so excited about this brand of oatmilk which ive heard a lot of good reviews, they said it tastes good and latte friendly (all good oat milk) which i have yet to try. :)
