will try this! The sound doesn't come in until a quarter through. A little confused by the different timings, as your timer looks like it's over a minute each time? Which type of milk are you using?

According to illy you should use only 7g of coffee for 25 seconds. Anything more then 7gramms will taste bitter...

@katesclamado, do you know how long I should wait before I make a second cup? When I make the first double shot cup, it comes out perfectly with all my current dials/settings but when I make the second cup with the exact settings, espresso comes out so slowly and whole lot less amount. Should I do something in between cups or wait certain minutes?

I just got my Barista Express and omg i was struggling alot with making my milk fluffy and creamy like the second one and I always ended up with the first one . But today i followed your video and it worked !! So happy ! I also pulled a decent shot today , so happy 😭

Help. My sweet hubby buys me a Cadillac when I can’t drive … he bought me a very expensive top of the line serger (a type of sewing machine which does very specific things) and I had no idea how to use it. Years later I still haven’t mastered it because it intimidates me. I am 51! Come on… anyway, we want to upgrade from keurig and I thought I wanted a nespresso original machine bc he loves coffee with crema. He also likes a big cup (12 oz) and I like variety and flavors. However I have no experience with espresso whatsoever, but I’m interested. He’s up for getting me the barista pro and I’m excited on one hand but nervous on the other - again, a Cadillac before I can drive. (And I know it’s not a Cadillac to some people, but to me it’s quite an investment.)

In my oppinion all of them looks fast still (The last one was very close to good one)... Maybe you should try to ground your beans one or two level below or you should put a little more coffee to make good pressure. (Depends to coffee condition sometimes proceeding beyond the limits simply works fine for me ) You could wanted to try a leveler and distrubitor in order to prepear your grounded coffee and avoid channeling as well.
