Launching boat using Minn Kota Ulterra

8 жыл бұрынThought I'd give it a shot - like in the ad for the Ulterra! Launch, deploy. Spot lock while I park. Don't forget to power on the trolling motor before you do this!

*It's a big heavy motor **enjoyable.fishing** recommend. I was pleased to find a resettable breaker included. I like the handle having a flat on top indicating neutral.*

If alone, always good to have a inflatable row boat if something goes wrong. Good video.

I actually don’t care for fishing really at all, yet here I am and wanting a boat and this future device to be able to play with just to dock and undock a boat. Haha

Im assuming before you launch the boat you have to have the Minn Kota in mode with the yellow light on correct?

Yep, my 17 titan is towing a 30 ft catamaran with twin Honda 225 on triple axle trailer. Didn't want a diesel either, had to trade my 14 ram sport cause it wouldn't pull it out the ramp.

What is the range of the controller? How far away can you be from your boat? I bet people go nuts, seeing your boat float away.

+Hubert Johnson I did have an incident where i did this launch on a sub-zero morning and the motor did not deploy... other than that the motor has been awesome!

Have you seen how poorly it fillets salmon? Not worth the extra money.
