Just stumbled across your channel and really like it. It’s a great idea and so much work you put into it. Would love to get one but unfortunately I am located in Europe, never been to Australia and I think it will stay like this in near future. If you ever do a Europe tour, maybe you could make one for Europe too 😊 I would be your first customer!

Love that! and the gum haha I actually used to collect business cards, it's a wonder my brain didn't go there 😛

@@settohike ok, now bear with me. My brain is wandering off. A standard collector card is 6.4 x 8.9cm. The standard SV bushwalking map is folded into quarters in the long direction and sixths in the short direction. That means you could unfold your pocketable/walletable card into a 38.4 x 35.6cm map with 24 panels on the back for hike stats, campsite facilities, side trips, local wildlife/history, and the display cover photo when folded down into card form. It would be a hell of a lot of work and it would be competing against an already existing $20 product, but it would be pretty awesome! And it's infinitely scalable. When new hikes are created, or if you wanted to go back and include others that didn't make the initial cut on your scratch-off poster, they could just be added individually. I figure the reduction in scale/detail would cancel out with the more manageable size.

Great idea! I have been hiking regularly while in Australia and have my own hike-bucket-list that have been scratching off. Your hiking poster is a great materialization of this bucket list concept and I am definitely interested in having one of them!

Twice over in fact. The strings you used to used to tied it up are now in the shed with the tomato stakes ready to tie up next year's crop! My daughter (who's a bit of a fan) has the set to hike branded paper. So what are the rules? I'm I allowed to half scratch the walks I've half done? 😂 ...... Sadly, I can only fully scratch off Wilsons Prom. 😞

@@James-em1pq I can't add links but search for Kabi Kabi people awarded native title over Sunshine Coast. It includes parts of the hinterlands and given what they have been saying, it will mean goodbye to hikes through the area as they currently are.
