@@LOWLYFETV it is 6 yrs. later and Laura now has a recording contract with Universal Recordings and she is going all over the world and singing. A couple of things you should know. At the time of this program Laura had no formal training and still to this day as far as I know, her only teachers have been her mom, her grandfather and youtube. Pretty remarkable. Laura has become a very talented singer singing both Pop, Opera and Christian music. She has become a very beautiful woman. This is just to fill in some gaps and to let you know how special she is.

Reading the comments in this topic I found that many music lovers do not know the requirements that must be met by a voice in order to be able to perform opera, and when I refer to opera I think of pure opera. Those requirements are : vocal power in all registers, vocal depth, vocal dynamics, vocal textures, vocal control, vocal range and stamina. In this case, being about an opera aria, it would be recommended to take into account the native vocal qualities of the performers. To like a voice doesn't mean that voice is capable to perform pure opera. Of all the young talents who tried to perform opera, the most promising voice to become a professional opera singer is Laura's voice, by far, because it meets all the necessary conditions that I mentioned before. In fact Laura is vocally gifted for opera. Even without a opera vocal training she sounds like a prodigy. Great react video, Laura is fantastic but if you really want to blow your mind watch (react if possible) to the 9 year old (yes 9) who won Holland Got Talent. Her name is Amira Willighagen. Shortly after she appeared in Maastracht with Andre Rieu in front of 10,000 people and got a standing ovation. She is now 12 and the performance that is causing a major stir is her duet with Patrizio Buanne, singing O Sole Mio. Amira is self taught by watching You Tube, One last thing she donates half her earnings to Stichting Gelukskinders a charity she set up to provide playgrounds for children in the South African slum townships. She is being likened to Maria Callas.
