I don’t know if you’ll (Laura) ever read this but I wanted to tell a story. I used to listen to opera when I was in my early teens through high school. I felt awkward and an outcast because I wasn’t into what the other kids were into. Kids were listening to *insert pop song here* and I’m in the corner with a Walkman CD player (this was right before the ipod was a thing as well) listening to Pavarotti. Honestly, over time my passion died away and I haven’t heard a single opera song in years and actually listened to it in full. That is, until I was going through KZfaq and stumbled across a America’s Got Talent audition about an hour before commenting this. I’m 30 years old now and I haven’t been captivated by opera for almost 12 years. I looked for your most recent video to say thank you. You have a subscriber and I look toward to see what you perform next.

It seems I show up just when you have done something very special. I am in love with your 'pop' voice. You have that special sauce in your voice. The kind that goes from your heart to those who are lucky enough to hear you. Then you did something I wasn't expecting near the end of the song when you took your voice up and into some whistle tones, or close to it. Are those notes something new or just newly used? They were lovely and full and rich. I will not lie, you really got to me and the tears that had started at the beginning really let loose when I heard those. I always loved your rendition of this song. When I watched Sam's cute & simple anime of it, it brought tears to my eyes & that surprised me. Thank you both for that.. (it also made me think you were joining the military, are you?) I also wondered if you ever got a contract with a label or are you going independent, which would be great. Dear Laura, in the realm of singers, and performing artists you are the best of the best. Not only in the quality of your voice but by every measure. My son was, for a while, a professional animator and he also was, in my opinion, among the best. He's too busy with his family now and had to give up animating for more lucrative work. It's kind of you to showcase Sam's work here but, how to say this politely, he has some work to do to rise to the level of your professionalism. I'm sure he will continue to improve. His animation does raise the question, though. What is the back story of Dear Father? I'm sure your fans would like to know more about it.

Laura, I have always been honest with you so here it is..Wonderful on your part you are as beautiful as always. Laura's singing is always outstanding and beautiful. The animation however, was primitive at best.

The music was outstanding as always, and you’re incredibly beautiful. But the animation was childlike and made me want to turn off the video, but I did not because of your voice. I simply closed my eyes.
