Sex sells. Eurovision seems to be about sex, perversion, darkness and the things that Laura Bretan does NOT stand for. She stands for love, light, faith and truth. I can't imagine the kind of people who support Eurovision supporting Israel so I totally agree that it could be a conspiracy to sabotage the show. There will certainly be far less support for Ester Peony than there would have been for Laura. As you said, Ester was good, but not the special, full, powerful performance of Laura. It was like a fight between light and darkness overall...and darkness won. Some millions fewer people will be watching and it may be the beginning of the end if they continue to make it a showcase for things other than music (not to be specific). It is a SONG competition and the best song, without doubt, and in the minds and hearts of the world and so many reviewers was Al Mike's, as presented by Laura Bretan. JMO and I loved many of the other songs but something really is fishy in Romania...and maybe elsewhere, although I wont' stay around to watch.

This guys should not be allowed to judge on this level of song contest ! They are just 2 guys giving their own opinion on their musical preference and sexual orientation... they don’t have any music studies or any hight level music experience for doing this !!! That sad pony song won just because the jury was stacked against Laura Bretan with the two mugs from wiwi who hate her and also Bella's producer (all gave poor scores to Laura). In a normal jury Laura would have won in a landslide. I didn't even pay attention to the pony song tbh since it was so mediocre... her winning was just a indirect effect of the judges trying to stop Laura imo.

first time seeing your channel and your pretty funny in a subtle way. I don't know anything about Romanian politics and their voting system but I do know that having William and Deban as a judge was a major and fatal mistake. You can't go around giving your opinion about all the singers and then be a judge and appear unbiased. Lost all respect for them. They went from being a very popular information about Eurovision to being the controversy, 0 credibility left.

I have been following Laura Bretan since she was on America's Got Talent. I also watched both Ester Peony and Laura Bretan's official video's for Eurovision Romania. While, Ester Peony's video was VERY expensively and professionally produced and Laura's was just her singing into a mic...in terms of vocal performance Ester's song was "Mehhhhhh I've heard pop songs like that all my life." But, Laura's rendition of Dear Father was vocally stunning! First time I heard it I felt like I had been hit in the head with a sledge hammer (in a good way!). While I can't blame Miss Peony for anything, I do agree that somehow this was stolen from Laura Bretan; at least from a pure vocal talent and vocal performance perspective.

If you watch the Wiwibloggs reaction to the Romanian Selection, they clearly state after listening to Olivier Kaye's song that any song that doesn't grab your attention in the first minute doesn't deserve to win. They only watched Ester Peony's song for a minute and got bored.

If i remember correctly there was a same situation in Estonia. I dont remember what year or what song it was, but it was many years ago. But this RO bs was so rigged, they didnt even try to hide it. I dont really care about ESC but Romania had few good songs so i was watching the National Selection just to see whos it gonna be Laura or Bella or even Sensibil Balkan. :(

I am not a conspiracy theorist...lol...at least I didn't think I was one. I AM a truth seeker, though and maybe that is the same thing. There seem to be several problems here, to me, who is not even in a Eurovision country so can be unbiased (except to point out the cesspool I see). 1. Why does the jury of a country's music not even speak the language? I personally loved DAINA (Letiticia and Sensibel Balkan) but since I couldn't understand the words didn't quite feel I could really appreciate it fully. It's like asking someone who is color blind to judge an art or fashion show...or a tone deaf person to judge a song contest. A "song" is about music AND lyrics. Some of the jurors couldn't even pronounce the names properly...this smells of a plot where they were coached. 2. Why does the vote of jury members (some of whom have questionable knowledge of music and 0 (zero) understanding of the lyrics of some of the songs have more weight in choosing for ROMANIA than all those who choose to vote themselves? 3. The level of deception is amazing...either purposely or by accident. I do not think Romanian people are any less intelligent that those in the rest of the world (in fact, in my experience, and I know many in Bucharest and other places there, they are VERY intelligent and wise) so was this judging process not fully explained or just kept in the dark? 4. Does Eurovision now "own" every song performed there? If not, it might be interesting to compare the true worldwide market for Bella and Laura's songs in the real world. I can see the hits and likes and reactions to them are far greater than many other Eurovision songs. and 5. I know there is a great deal of anti-semitism, possibly to a dangerous level, among the "fake tolerance"/ liberal/ entertainment movements around the world. It may be that they have again some clear winner they want to shine in Tel Aviv and they are just voting in pawns who they know will NOT have any chance to win there. This could be to detract from the attendance in a nation they consider "hateful" (they need to look at the Palestinian and Muslim's views on homosexuality...Israel is one of the most truly tolerant in the world!) Or it could be a more limited and selfish motive, to promote a certain contestant who has either paid them off or promised to. I don't know why Mihai backed out but he obviously saw some of the surface level of the problems here. It just keeps getting deeper, though, as you point out. Also, if Bella would have won I could have believed it was just a vote "against" Laura and her beliefs. But this is really intriguing....oh, and 6. Follow the money: if there is money in televoting, someone has literally robbed the Romanian people. I have found out there that money and pride/prestige are enough to blind many, many so called "judges". Your theories are interesting and will get people to look critically at what is going on in some of these things they follow and love to support. It's important now not to get swept up in the darkness. Sorry for the long note but I slept on this and these things came to mind. Good luck in your search for the truth. SOMEONE has heard SOMETHING concrete and helpful ...and several of those, when uncovered, can shine a light on the process. I have always said that Laura was too good for the competition and I now think Bella was too. But I'm not sure why I think that only poorer acts can win....
