Forgive me for being confused - maybe it’s an alien thing or a goof with the casting - but K was played by a white man and Lauranna was played by an Asian woman. That shouldn’t exactly result in an Afro-Cuban daughter. I understand the implication, but at least with the casting, it doesn’t exactly fit.

Why does everyone think he is the biological father just because he loved the mother? She was at least conceived before the mother went to Earth. The whole purpose of going to Earth was to protect the light, aka Laura. He is just the godfather/distant guardian watching over her in the shadows. He's like Snape but a better father figure instead of a mean and bitter teacher.

Everyone think's it because it's heavily implied. There's no real confirmation that she was conceived beforehand, nor how the light actually works. It's kept ambiguous on purpose. I love how in the first movie, Jay didn’t really know what was going on with the sunglasses, and every time Kay had to neuralize a woman multiple times he was like “That doesn’t cause brain damage right??” Now he just… sees Kay take out his anti-neuralizer glasses and does the same without hesitation and declares he wants the Statue of Liberty sized neuralizer 😂 Our boy has grown!

Imagine being told you’re a alien princess from another world, basically being told your whole life was a lie and THEN being told you have to go save a planet and it’s people you’ve never heard of at the last second or else everything dies. This was my favorite MIB film! It had a beautifully tragic story! They first one was good but did not have the same soundtrack or dramatic undertones as this one had almost to make it as iconic as it’s become! Too bad movies aren’t like this anymore😔

That's something I like about K, he switches very adeptly depending on who he's talking to. Whenever Jay or Laura needed it he went to "Dad mode" real fast. Also time out. They just left the car on top of that building?

One thing I found curious about the second film by then. Is how the Kylothians and the Zarthans rivalry was somehow similar to the Bugs and the Arquilians rivalry from the first film. I always forgot that Serleena's true form was of an invertebrate worm with a snake-like appeareance and plant like qualities. Despite her being disguised as an underwear model.
