This week i built a stainless steel dead blow hammer with one wooden and one plastic tip.
all the materials together cost under 10 euros.
I wanted to make a cool hammer for myself ever since i saw the
dead blow mallet video from jeremy schmidt
• Wooden mallet explosion!
Thanks Rockler for supporting my channel
I used their sweet sweet mini lathe and the turning chisels to turn the plastic and the maple.
very cool tools!
again, playing around this the stick welder and trying to get better.
also, i just learned that the fumes are pretty nasty so this video will be the last one containing shots of me standing in a cloud of smoke like michael jackson :)
let me know what you think about this project in the comments below and give me a thumb up if you enjoyed it.

Very liked the explosions of white electric light in those welding segments. The dead blow hammer completes yet another of the essential self designed/built toolmakers bucket list - keep that going. I like your additions of a tools/parts list and their varied presentations recently - a nice and valuable touch. All is certainly going well for you.

simple, stylish, crisp and... sort of sexy (the hammer, that is). I love it. Been busy here with the ongoing destruction of kitchen walls, butchering of hardwood countertops with a sawzall and learning copper pipe brazing (after a slight flood-inducing misshap). None of it captured on video, but I'm certainly going after bigger and bigger projects, fueled by the confidence and inspiration from watching all y'all's projects ! Thanks, and keep on trucking !
