Sometimes its useful to just be able to go away, arrive late in the evening, and not have to worry about putting up a tent, this build is ideal, without all the hassle that can go with towing a full sized caravan. Great project.

I liked that you used modern construction techniques. Roxall insulation and even vapor barrier. It looks really cozy.

It's beautiful, and the sheet metal is a great, simple approach to curved roof. The insta-bench is pretty smart, too.

The whole process from start to finish looks like fun. Sharing with friends, and later your father must be a satisfying memory of working towards your degree. Sure beats the idea of boring weekends locked in a library learning quadratic equations etc. Lots of camera angles and final "in use" shots tell a great story.

No reason to worry about the quality Laura. This was a great look into your process. You did a LOT with a little. I like the "front porch" you showed at the end. It allowed the living area to extend beyond the envelope of the trailer.

Das Bübchenblau ist der Knaller... Habe selbst ein ähnliches Projekt im Hinterkopf und habe mir den Clip deshalb mehrere Male angesehen. Jedesmal neue schräge Ideen und mein jetziger Entwurf im Kopf ist inzwischen ganz weit weg vom Ursprung. Danke.

I love the idea of this! Something more 'achievable' than a full-scale Tiny House and yet, it remains (in my opinion) more attractive and maybe even more practical, than a caravan. :-)

Another great build - where is the caravan now? I volunteer as a mentor at a tool library, and I can tell you that what I see here is what I see as a volunteer - first of all, a progression of skill, and secondly (and more importantly) fearlessness. For me, the most rewarding thing is to talk to and advise people (all ages, all walks of life) whose biggest skill is that they are willing to try!

I really appreciate your humility... loved your work, got really inspired to start making functional things... really glad i stumbled on to one of your videos. :)
