To The Moon is one of those games that..... ....becomes far more tragic on the second playthrough. Realizing that River not only spends her entire life trying (and failing) to get Johnny to remember their first night together under the stars, but that she went through her entire life never knowing why he forgot that night in the first place. Ouch, that's rough. That's what also makes this amazingly beautiful song sadder every time I hear it. Thumbs up for damn sure.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who burst into tears when this played during "To the Moon".

AHHHH SHE WROTE THIS ALL BY HERSELF!!! What talent! Why is stuff like this not on the radio?! What's with all the butt songs? We need more songs like this that are just lovely, heartfelt, and sweet.

First time I heard this song of Markiplier reacting to it, I cried. I saw and listened to the original cover. I cried. I went to this video, and cried. My tears are no more. I cannot have anymore tears. No other song has hit me this hard. My life is changed. I'm going to the moon.

Even after all these years, after all this time, this song is so incredibly precious to me. I am a late diagnosed autistic. This was the most intimate and loving experience I had of autism. I had thought of my exhusband, who I had loved very dearly, at the time I first heard it and it made me go and buy the game just to experience it. Now since diagnosed this song has just become even more powerful as I have only just realized today that this was sung from her perspective and that is my voice and now I am shattered but in the most beautiful way. Please. Never let this video die. I beg KZfaq immortilizes it.

I know you will never see this. But thank you. I have always loved to sing, and your songs have helped shape how I sing, as I never had lessons. I sing this song when I'm sad, when I don't know what to do, when I'm having a painc attack, and it helps (trying to sing while having attack always helps calm me down, even though it's super difficult). Thank you for producing the most beautiful music I have ever heard. Music that brings me to tears. Thank you for showing me what real music sounds like. And for a 14 year old having to put up with some of the music now, it means a lot.

Found out about this "to the moon" recently, and honestly, in terms of story writing and character development it's a masterpiece, it's a shame that there is not many people who actively talk about it

This has to be one of the best songs to ever exist. I was introduced to this song by someone very important to me who I no longer have contact with unfortunately, however I listen to this song constantly and it just fills me with memories. Ever since I was very little, I've always wanted to fly. No real reason. Today, I went skydiving indoors, like in the tube thing, and I felt like I was fulfilling my dream. To be there before the sun rises, and to watch the Earth from afar. Seeing the Earth would be beautiful, the stars blinking and being beautiful just like always. There is a deeper meaning to the moon, no one knows. But we all know that its what makes our nights more pretty, and the sky more romantic and enjoyable. * * * * It's been a few weeks since my wish, and someone knocked on my door, because she signed us up to go on a free trip to the moon. We quickly got into the bus, and headed to NASA headquarters, where we were transported to the docking station. We got into our suits, and headed to the rocketship. I held her hand as I felt the rocketship blast up into the endless depth of space, and stars. Most importantly, the moon. One of the pilots came to tell us that the project was called To The Moon, suggested by my loving girl friend. I held her hand, and I felt the brushing pulse, and we sat back and we looked at eachother, blushing and with loving eyes. Her eyes started to tear up. As I held back the tears, we both looked forward, as we both new, this mission was to tell us both, to never look back. As his vision faded away, he looked once again into his girl friend's eyes, and then he finally rested. For all he could hear, and for all we could hear, the heart rate monitor stop beeping normally, and the heart monitor, came to a sudden end, the longing wait, the loud and emotional, *bleeeeeeeeeeeeee* .
