I wish beauty company’s would bring back the old vintage packaging ❤️

Brought back some great memories. I grew up on a farm way out in the country. Once a month the Avon Lady made her rounds. The trunk of her car was full of goodies. She and Mom would have coffee and gossp while looking through the catalogue. She'd give me and my sister those little lipstick samples. I thought I was grown when Mom finally let me pick out something.

BTW Avon “Skin So Soft “scent keeps the mosquitoes away instead of using bug sprays ☺️

In the late 60’s, in elementary school, I remember my mom sprinkling Avon rose scented talc powder on my clean sheets. Probably why I really love clean sheets.

Omg! I wish they would bring back the old packaging and some of the discontinued products. Btw, this was really relaxing to watch.

I'm 28 but my last year in high school ten years ago when I was 18 I started selling Avon, I was very popular with the lunch ladies lol. I didn't sell it very long after they, I don't do MLM's but Avon has a special place in my heart

That was when Avon was good. My grandma had a collection of all the mini lipsticks and the holder for them, she saved them for me when I would visit in the summer. My favorite perfume was Cotillion, I wish I could find it!

I haven't even finished watching, but I have to say how great that hair is!

Can we tag this to Avon. This was truly so creative! Wouldn’t it be great if Avon did a decades time limited collection and brought back items duplicated in their original packaging. That would truly be unique

I remember the Avon lady coming to our house in the early-mid 70s. She had all those little white lipstick samples to show my mom and I was mesmerized. Great video! So fun! They also sold quite a bit of costume jewelry then. I still have a few of my mom’s old rings and lockets. 💗

I remember having many of these products! I still have a few empty cream sachet jars. I sometimes open them and have a sniff . It immediately takes me back to my teens in the 70s 💟💅💄

Wow what a travel back in time journey. My mom’s Avon lady was a nurse also and every month she came to our house to showcase the new stuff and the new brochure! She was the Avon lady of the entire family, i still remember the first avon cologne mom bought me and since then I’m a loyal customer, glad to help the ladies get some money through the sales of the products. My grandma loved the Anew skin care line, if she were around here with us I would get her the entire line! Miss her so much!!! Our Avon Lady is retired, don’t know if she’s still around here, after COVID19 we lost contact with her.

This was so cute! My mom has a lot of great vintage Avon goodies still and at least has 10 or more of those vintage dolls that her daddy got her over the years when she was a lot tie girl. She was around 11yrs when she said she got her first one and was addicted to them. They are a precious treasure passed on down to my own daughter. 💕

I LOVED the 60s and 70s cream sachets - Carnation, Hyacinth, Gardenia, Hawaiian Ginger, Topaze. I've kept all the beautiful jars.

This was so fun! I remember my mom had the Wild Rose collection. I remember the bottles with those round, pink tops. When she emptied them she gave the bottles to me and I used them when I played with my dolls.

My favourite Avon perfumes in the 60s were Occur and Topaze. I wish Avon would bring the sachets back, I loved those little pots. The 60s is a long time ago but I'm sure we didn't have so many Avon products in Britain. The catalogue was different too.

FAB HAIR! So cute as well as the makeup and dress! If that catalogue was available today, I would buy everything just for the packaging alone! Avon used to be so classy! I have the peach soap including the original box at 8:16! The peach soap opens to reveal a tiny soap pit! My mom used Vita Moist and the smell was so nice. I miss the old Avon!

When my maternal grandmother passed away she had a collection of vintage Avon perfume bottles with the Victorian ladies and decanters made of glass. We all have some of these treasures now and they always remind me of her. I have a few from the late 70's and 80's that I saved from my childhood. She loved collecting and I inherited that hobby from her. Such nostalgic memories! :)

This just fell into my recommendations. This was a lot of fun. Avon used to make amazing packaging for their products, especially for it’s scents, lotions and bubble baths, so it was really neat to see.

I just watched this and it brought back so many memories. My aunt wore Occur!, my grandmother wore To A Wild Rose and my mother wore Persian Wood.

My mom would buy Avon all the time in the 1970s. Me and my sister would wear the Sweet Honesty cologne. I still have the old bottles with the scents still in them. The scent MoonWind, discontinued in the 1980s, always reminds me of my childhood. I still buy Timeless from Avon on line. Love those old catalogues!

Such a brilliant video! I can remember watching my mother shop with her Avon Lady on Saturdays. My mother wore Here's My Heart, Cotillion and To a Wild Rose. I can remember her buying me a Wishing cream satchel and some dusting powder to start my own collection. The Avon Lady would even give me some of the mini lipsticks from her aqua sample case. Such wonderful memories! 💕

Gosh, this is like a trip down memory lane. My mom was an Avon lady back in the 1960’s and she really did go door to door. She was quite good at it too, was even offered a managers position when I was in middle school. I used to help during the holidays, putting the customers orders into bags and giving them a sample. I remember all of the old fragrances, Cotillion, Here is my heart, Occur, Persian Wood, etc.

I was an Avon lady at just 15 years of age, I had a full time job and decided to do it for fun. I would make about $600 per catalogue and received so many lovely full size and limited edition products as rewards that I could either sell, gift or keep. A very fond memory.

I'd like to "order" the Topaz cream sachet! I had that one as well as other Topaz items (mouse and turtle and a tall bottle and talcum powder) and Apple Blossom sachet as well as a few other small fragrance items I got for Christmas various years in my stocking. I also loved the Skin So Soft. I still have the mouse and turtle which still have the perfume. And I remember we had the clock with bubble bath when I was young in the early 60's.

My Grandma worshiped Avon back in the day. She was even bffs with the Avon rep that came to the house. She even lathered herself with Vaseline every night, she had the best complexion and minimal wrinkles, she recently passed away, made it to 99 and a half years old.

That was so fun to watch. I used to sell Avon in the 1990’s. They have some very good products at a reasonable price. In fact, I still have a couple of the little scented bath powders.

Oh my God. It's like stepping back in time. I had pretty much everything sitting on the table beside you. I had both dolls maybe wearing same dresses. Lol. Is that cat by chance a candle that you've painted. I have one too. Same type and same pose. Except mine has never been painted and it's yellow with dust. My grandma used to have a lot of the Avon stuff you have in the book and even the creams. She even collected Avon perfume bottles. The pretty ones. She had a whale, Christmas tree ornaments, a telephone and many more perfume bottles. Plus she worked at Coty cosmetics and had a lot of that stuff too. Oh remember soap on a rope.. I hated that stuff. It stunk. Lol. Till this day though, i believe you can still use avon's skin so soft for bug repellant. Well the original scented one anyway. We used to use it back when off wasn't so well known. Thanks though for the walk back in time. It reminds me of grandma so much. Ya know sometimes i can close my eyes a still smell her house. It smelled like perfume, like Coty and like Avon. A very distinct smell. I miss her smell as much as i miss her. Have a great day sweetie. You made my day... 😎

Hi Laura, I absolutely love your video. My Grandma was an Avon lady through the 1960s. She had a huge drawer full of the tiny sample lipsticks. I used to go in and lock myself in her bathroom and try on the lipsticks when I was about three. I remember so many of the things you have showed. I have a bunch of them in my attic she saved as mementos. My Grandma always gave me Avon kids perfume and things when I was little. My Grandfather had all of the men's cologne bottles too. It was so cool seeing your catalogue. You should consider starting an Avon account and sell now because you would do so fantastic. I want to say as well we had a very nice Avon lady growing up.
