My wife and I love you Lauren! So glad you were finally able to get your infusion. Ren and I were so worried about going to the Cleveland Clinic hospital to get her infusion because of COVID-19. After all, Ocrevus is an immunosuppressant! We spoke with Genentech and they suggested we should ask the Clinic if they do home service. We did, and to our surprise they were set up to do that. The IV equipment arrived a day before (with all the medications) and we were instructed to keep it in a refrigerator for a bit. The nurse showed up the next day, set everything up and gave Ren her infusion. It was so easy. The Clinic wanted us to just store the infusion equipment and they will contact us in again in six months. This helped us a lot in scheduling and getting over our fears from SARS-CoV-2. Stay safe and love ya!

Hey Mike! Thank you so much to you and your wife! Wow, I'm so glad Genentech made that suggestion to get the infusion at home! I'm so glad the clinic was set up for it! It sounds like the nurse was wonderful and you're all set up for the next infusion! I wish you both the very best!!

Hi there! I had the same thing happen and was almost a month late for mine. I started having really bad headaches and bad fatigue. I managed to get my workout done every day and I think it helped. I did feel so much better once I got it done 🙂. First time I had any kind of slump, I did fine with Tysabri and steching it out. This was the first time having Ocrevus late and now I know what to expect. So glad that you bounced back fast!!
@LaurenParrott
@LaurenParrott 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrea! Good for you - you are so strong to be able to get your workout done every day...especially in those circumstances!! I felt the same way as you with Tysabri - I did totally fine with stretching out my dosage. You're right, now I know what to expect. I did bounce back fast and I'm so fortunate! I wish you the very best with everything!!

It does help, it's just sad that companies wait so long. There are many that don't really take the sickness serious enough.

The best advice I can give is try not to get worked up emotionally when your routine gets disturbed, whether it’s infusions or other complications. M.S. can be triggered into exasperation’s by less , so keep focus on staying as calm as possible. Chamomile tea kept me out of the hospital for two years while waiting for my S.S. Disability waiting period to end .
