This coffee is £5 in Tesco now! My mate bought some for a thing his wife was doing and we tried it out first and it was, erm, normal tasting but really good normal.

Yes its a decent coffee just not at that price...I could probably get 3 bags of Aldi's House Blend for the same price.

Never tried these but always been curious....think I'll leave em alone as not keen on herbal notes...thanks for the review. Quite enjoyed the black espresso beans though. P .s. Lavazza is pronounced 'La-vaT-za' cos of having 2 z's in it like pizza 👍

I like both oro and qualita oro but the best one ive tasted from the brand is Gran Riserva Filtro when it comes to filter coffee

Had the beans a few wks ago and was lovely, however bought the ground on the offer and not impressed. Seem to be ground very fine.

The beans are always a little bit better and fresher tasting.

A finer grind is better for flavour. A nightmare in a cafetière though so best used in a machine.

Yes the finer grind only really caters for the smallish percentage of people who have a proper espresso machine or moka pot...and as I like most people probably have a delonghi or the like which have pressurised baskets and this is too fine for me to use.

@@dmcerrrmmmm I only use a cheap 75 quid machine but it does this coffee well. I’m wanting to try the kona coffee but feel like I won’t be doing it justice unless in some expensive pressurised machine lol.

@hughmungus1235 give it a try I wouldnt worry about how good your machine...I stuck with a cheap delonghi and they've served me well...I couldn't afford to go down the rabbit hole of the expensive machines that need endless dialling in to get a consistant cup.
