(frequently asked for) mods visible in the video: Neko Lost + Tainted Lost, "The Beast but it's my dad" mod, Specialist Dance, Dogma Brimstone Lasers, Damage Multiplier Stat, and "Regret Pedestals" (this is the one that shows you the blind item you didn't take). AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying non tainted lost runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point because I wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Dunno when, but it'll happen (I've been saying this for months lmao)
11/29 update: wait should i just do cas instead? i kinda like it more than laven (if so then i can just rename my 2nd channel to like cas2 or something)
fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

Purity's yellow aura is speed, range is the orange aura. afaik, speed and tears are the only stats with an upper limit (2.00 and 120.00, respectively) Damage, Range, Shot Speed, and Luck do not "cap", but there is a point where each stat getting increased further is relatively pointless

it is, don't know if it is intended but was an issue since the brimstonebombs first came out. never got fixed and also doesnt do damage all the time so maybe it's intended? not sure

@@SuperChavon blue baby was more than death the moment she got hit, and i don't think you are inmune to your fire bombs if that fire bombs is used by Nancy bombs, normally, yeah, you are inmune to your fire bombs and all fire damage sources if you pick Up the fire bombs item, because that item grants you inmunity to fire damage as well

I recommend you the mantle rework mod it gives the holy card and dogma's mantle a new sprite, you can have more than one mantle (dogma mantle,holy card and holy mantle stack i dont remember if the wooden cross mantle has a new sprite but it stacks too)

Hey! I was just wondering, like you said, why you take faded Polaroid over normal, for dark room. Is there any benefits to the items? Or is it just a spur of the moment choice?

Faded Polaroid opens the way to the chest after the cathedral and "the negative" opens the way to dark room after sheol. If you Go to sheol with the Polaroid the Run ends after the Satan fight

Also Polaroid gives invincibility for around 5 secs in one room if you take dmg on 1 heart or less, and the negative gives +1dmg and necronomicon effect when on half a heart

The chest requires keys, the polaroid is more defensive. the dark room gives you the option to victory lap, and the negative gives dmg. it's a choice depending on your run, and which boss you want to beat. If you're doing the ascent tho it doesn't really matter

once i entered a room, it was a "normal one" except it had bot fly, a pick up and a fly enemie, even my friend who was watching me play was surprised i found one room like that it wasnt a boss challenge room, treasure room or anything like that it was supposed to be a normal room with enemies but it had a free item in there (i finally got D6 for isaac in that room as blue baby so nice) i also found in a failed try to get D6 polyphemus and crickets head in the same treasure room, sadly i didnt find more blue hearts and i was like at 3 hits when i went to kill isaac with blue baby

I feel like trinkets are way underpowered because they are arguably rarer than items and they are 10x weaker than the item they are most similar to, and you can only hold 1-2! (excluding the marbles item)

The only thing this run is missing to be a JoJo reference is some homing. Marked would probably be the most accurate for some ORAORAORA goodness. XD Edit: Nevermind. It would seem Star Platinum took a raincheck, and Killer Queen stepped up to bat instead! This was HIGHLY satisfying. ^-^
