Sadako is literally my BFF! In context - When I was like 7 I watched the movie and I got really scared, so I had nightmares, a lot. One night I decided that I was going to have a tea party with her so I jumped out of bed, got my tea set, and invited her, we had a blast. and the shadow man made sure that we didn't burn the house down. ... yea it was a wild dream but I stopped being scared of shadows, darkness, and creepy little girls after that dream. My 7 yo self said "hi let's be friends" to fear and never was afraid afterward.

I've never heard the story of the ring before. It sounds almost exactly like a murder that happened in my home town. The murderer killed her own childeren. She lived only a few doors down from me. Her stepson was my teacher, and he was heartbroken over the death of his stepsiblings. It was absolutly terifying, expecially when the childeren's bodies were found and we figured out how they died.
