Thanks. Totally transfixed watching this one come to life Lisa, I've not have any creative urges the past few months with one problem or another, but having watched your last couple of videos, I must admit to feeling 'arty' again so hope something will come of it. I do have a question if you don't mind (total newbie artist type) I have chalks - dovecraft trays and all night media ones, what is the difference between those and pan pastels?? If it's easier to answer via facebook let me know and I'll pop a message to you over there. Looking forward to having a spend on Lavinia goodies the end of the month 😁🥰

Thank you so much for your kindness Tracy. Really appreciated! To answer your question I have no experience of the dove craft product. So far as I know the pan pastels are much more than chalk. They are artist quality pigments and contain binder which help them adhere to the surface of the card. But use what you have and experiment. I always lay down a first layer of ink or watercolour and use pastels to enhance what’s underneath etc. maybe your chalks will work too. Also it helps to spray the pastels with fixative or hair spray before stamping on top . I hope that helps. 😊😁

Absolutely love it it's got to be 1 of my favourites. Have watching your channel for a while and must say From 1 artist to another your so talented. Can I ask do you fame your paints and hang them up or do you sell them just wondering? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love this! Is spooky tree discontinued, do you know please? It's one I haven't got but it doesn't come up on the site as I was going to order it.

You won’t get it on the Lavinia site but it may still be available elsewhere. People have been using other trees instead. Sorry!🙏🤗

Fabulous Lisa, you are amazing!! I know you have said you are self taught but were you good at drawing and perspective at school etc? Also could you help me with a quick question? When I use masking fluid, when I rub it off I take half of the card with it! any tips? Thanks in anticipation. xxx

Thanks so much Debbie! Yes I did art to A level and nearly went to art college but choose another subject at Uni. Both my kids have degrees in art. My son did fine art and my daughter fashion and textiles! My mum used to paint so we are an arty farty family!I’ve learnt a lot over the years through experimenting I suppose! I think the masking fluid very much depends on the card. Also you don’t have to rub hard. It works well with multifarious card. It’s a bit like Sheenas card. It too would work if you can still get some! Take care. Xx

Debbie what a coincidence. I’m a solicitor too! Although I left it a couple of months ago to work full time on my art. Over 30 years was enough! 😊

I did conveyancing when I started out in private practice. Ultimately I became an equality lawyer working for the public sector. I took a career break at the end of June. I’m unemployed for the first time in my life! Very scary to have no income. I’m trying to build my channel and do what I love. You have been so kind to me. I really appreciate that! Xx
