It's great the different ways you used the tree stamps, showing us thier much more versatile & we can create so much more with them. The imagery you create, never ceases to astound me. Well I eventually did complete this, was a labour of love, & no wonder this took you hours, it was such alot of layering of colours, & mine did not turn out as bright or as defined. But saying that I was pleased with the end result, because the people who saw it & the friend & her family I gave it to as a new home card, couldn't compare the card to yours! And so they thought it was really lovely whew!

I love watching how you use pastels to make such beautiful backgrounds, and develop the patches of light etc. I always feel like I've had a relaxing meditative session, after watching your tutorials😊. You are sooooo talented! And i don't hand that compliment out lightly lol! You are the one that convinced me that using stamps isn't cheating. When you put so much of your own ideas & work into them, they do become your own work! And i do like the effect stamps have as opposed to the harsher black lines of using ink everywhere. i have a question for you... what is the difference between Pan Pastels & oil or chalk pastels? Am thinking about trying to spread out or mash up oil pastels & use them with a blending brush.... so i don't have to invest in them right now (buying a new house!) Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful creations & techniques!

Thank you for the compliment! Very much appreciated! Pan pastel is artist quality pigment with binder. It is similar to soft pastel sticks and pencils but a more versatile product in terms of application. It’s finely milled and easy to blend. If you have the pastel sticks you will get a similar effect. Oil pastels are completely different. They can provide beautiful backgrounds but less easy to blend and difficult to stamp on top! If you can only afford one thing I recommend amzn.to/4bcXnDn. I hope that helps! 🙏😊

Thank you Melissa ! The markers aren’t exactly opaque . They are water colour but they blend together amazingly well and provide great saturation of colour!😊❤️
