@@KirilNeglovich Bad things do happen every day such as telling me to grow up. Luckily, people falling into volcanos or thermal pools or dousing themselves with gasoline and setting themselves ablaze is anything but an everyday occurrence. In fact, it's rather rare. I respect your observations. I respect Thurston's right to put whatever he chooses on his site. Please respect my opinion, also.

All of these are horribly sad deaths. Anything where the skin is destroyed leaves the nerves completely exposed. Excruciatingly painful.

That story of the old woman burning alive had a bit of detail left out of it, there's a video by Nexpo which mentions it as the second topic of "Disturbing Things from Around the Internet [Vol. 14]" it's an interesting watch, if a bit long. Kyle Hill also has a video about the radiation incident called "Goiânia Accident - South America's Nuclear Tragedy" if you were curious.

Still watching your video. You mentioned you're getting as many videos out as possible because of hot 23°c (73.4°f). It's 10:54 a.m. PST here in California (6:54 p.m. your time). This morning's low was 74°f (23.33°c). Currently: 92° f (33.33°c). Expected high: 103°f (39.4°c). Have a nice evening.

You need to get a couple fans for your room. I remember the monk burning. There was a young man in San Deigo that took the bus to and from work. He sat down on the metal bench and was electrocuted; the bench was connected to the streetlight to provide power. it was not grounded correctly

Not for the faint of heart. Usually I always enjoy your videos, this with reservations. Sorry it is super warming up. Ironically some years ago they were worried that the Gulf Stream ocean current which helps keep Britain mild was "collapsing" and would make Britain colder and have worse winters. Here in Philadelphia we are well into the mid 90s F (35 C) for high temperature. Which despite all the doom and gloom as is the fad today describing any weather, is normal. So in the first one, the guy describes grizzly bears as "merciless" is not fair. Grizzlies don't have mercy, that is a higher intelligence thing. Apes, Dolphins, and Whales might have mercy, but a wild animal like a grizzly bear, no they don't have the capacity. Jose in the tuna cooker, classic mistake. Not telling your coworkers about a problem and then trying to fix it alone. Then his coworker in not double checking. Holy crap, what a way to go. I was thinking about getting some chocolate covered raisins today. I don't think I will until I forget about poor Vincent's death by chocolate. I remember the story of Loretta who died in that fire. Most people who die in fires die from smoke inhalation or at least become unconscious before the flames reach them. Many of these were due to carelessness on the part of someone, usually the victim.

The audio of Loretta's death was... let's just say she did a lot of screaming if it was suffocation from high temperature exposure. That whole case was vile...

This must be an older video if he's going with a 1963 example of someone burning themselves on purpose. In February 2024 an American air force guy pored gasoline on himself and set himself on fire in front an embassy in Washington DC. He yelled free palistine till he died. I think it's crazy, but that's what happened.

Curious. The recording of the woman's demise from the inside paints a very vivid picture. Sounds like there were some missteps with higher ups, communication, and negligence. Seems like by the time they got around to her location well... she describes everything to the operator, including her agony.

@@nverted-dynamo no, she lived in a rural area, we cant drive faster than 50 mph on those roads and even if it wss possible we wouldnt be allowed to, when we got there we alresdy had our gear on and the chief told us to break down the front door and put the hose in, so we did that within like 1 minute then we started spraying snd yelling for the woman, we physically could not get into the house. it wasnt just smoke, nah it was like full flames every inch of the house. not to mention the house ended up collapsing on her. we tried everything we could brotha n now people saying we couldve helped, in all reality no we couldnt man.

@chrisvibz4753 I don't doubt that most did everything they could. The coverage by Nexpo just had some evidence against some of the rescue that made me a bit more nihilistic than I already was. It's been a while since I watched it but I do recall someone high-ranking making a TikTok at the active scene. I do remember her hear rescue outside working for a while, but it seems calling out to her and her calling out was hopeless if she couldn't be reached when help arrived. Idk, the footage and audio Nexpo covered makes it very hard for me and many who've seen it to not feel like she was a victim to more than the flames itself, whether it be the human factor or rules & regulations. I dunno what else to say. Thinking about this has got me spiraling about how messed up and sad life is and it's really depressing

@@nverted-dynamo well dont worry brother , all u need to do with a relatively healthy body is, if you have gas stove, make sure the gas is turned off before bed, make sure no candles while sleeping, make sure you unplug some non essential things before bed, only plug in what u need when u need it then unplug it, then also go outside in the sunshine and enjoy yourself, get back to your primal roots. throw a fat tomahawk steak onto an open flame with nothing but salt and eat it without a fork my guy. smash a couple of beers or water. be barefoot outside. there ya go my brotha
